Tb Developments Road Car, Ep91 :), Now Updated
TBDevelopments replied to TBDevelopments's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
well i'm a dealer for walbro so got a few here so seemed rude not to put a nice new pump in there thing is this is meant to be my everyday car, i have a 500bhp+ mr2 being built as well, and there is nothing i can do to a glanza that will make it keep up with that so its kinda pointless, but i do love this little thing so you never know. I said i wouldn't go past the basics but the blitz turbo and power fc kinda say otherwise lol Tim TB Developments -

cool if it'll make more i might get an adjustable cam pulley and advance the cams slightly to keep it at 180bhp but raise the torque did you have ignition control harness on your emanage? I do plan on fitting a walbro 255 intank and i have a Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator from my mr2 to go on as well. This is about as far as i'm going to go on this car. Saying that i can see myself getting paranoid of blowing it up as its a daily, and building a forged bottom end for piece of mind, and ending up with 1.2bar and larger injectors and some nitrous haha Tim TB Developments -

well 180bhp and equal torque will do me mate I've just bought one of the factory option LSD gearbox as well, i'll fit a fidanza lightweight flywheel and one of those 40% uprated exedy clutches while i'm at it. Should help with getting the power down. Not going mad, 1 bar will be enough as don't want to max out the stock fueling, that will be my limiting factor to stop me going nuts lol. But i'm going to go blitz front mount ic and i'll put the water/methanol injection kit i've got going spare from my old mr2 road car. i find the methanol really helps with the fueling and an octane boost. yeah, i'm holding out to find a jam manifold really, then i'll get that, the turbine housing and blitz decat ceramic coated before fitting it all. coupled to the blitz full nur system i think the exhaust flow should be prietty good and make good power at 1bar mapped with the power fc Tim TB Developments -

did a few more little mods this week. firstly was the Whiteline adjustable panard rod. Just need to get the ARB's and antilift kit fitted now and i'll get it all 4 wheel lazer alligned. Add a bit more negative camber on the front as well. I also had this back from being rebuild Yep a brand new Blitz K1-200v Turbocharger. the only bits that were retained were the blitz compressor wheel and housing yet referbed, everything else has been replaced for brand new, even the exhaust housing is brand new and internally ported and polished to give the best possible gas velocity through the housin -
i did ask about putting a signature up to see if that would be ok. i'll wait on his reply. Tim TB Developments

the shows massivly out of date at the moment, when we swap servers i got locked out of my own shop haha. But over the christmas break were going to redo the lot, with 3 seperate shops specially for Mr2, Celica and Starlet, as there is about 15 different dealerships i have now that i have to add the products for. Spoke to enzo but apparently there isn't any trader spots :P Tim TB Developments
-
see i didn't want to push the fact of what i do tomuch as i thought the admins might get funny with an advertising signature and website link without actually paying for trader status. Tim TB Developments
-
well i've PM'd him anyway so see what he says. regardless i'll continue to work on products for the glanza's through my own forum and shop, and eventually reports will filter back to the clubs i mean i no longer use the mr2 forums but i'm on a 12 month waiting list atleast for mr2 work. so must be doing something right Tim TB Developments
-
well what you want me to do? apart from direct mapping (although i do have a guy who does all my race mapping) there isn't a huge amount i can't do (without trying to sound bigheaded) Tim TB Developments
-
well i'm a dealer of a lot of various products and i've done quite a few products in the 3sgte area of my business that are considered the best in the industy, i would like to expand this to 4efte's as well. But apart from that i don't intend to have a huge parts database so it would be more of a workshop services i would want to push, but i didn't want to limit to just this as i can also supply a great deal of the parts needed, not only that but i have contacts and suppliers all over the world. Tim TB Developments
-
from an unbiast standpoint i think its better for a club to have an many "good" traders as possible, gives more choice on parts and services. Plus i'd be buying the manifolds etc i need from you anyway after our chat last week Tim TB Developments
-
dodgy traders yes as you need to protect the members of the forum, but i'm sure some of the member who i've done work for will stand by my work and services. Tim TB Developments
-
hey mate, yeah definitly. we do most of the main shows anyway so just come over and grab me or someone on stand will point me out be good to meet like minded people Tim TB Developments
-
that seems a bit negative thought the more traders the better as far as a member standpoint goes and stopping new ones because you have your own store would just appear to be an attempt to remove competition? might explain why i didn't get a reply before Tim TB Developments

cheers well wales isn't far from me. I've got a mate near the coast and only takes him an hour to get to me and hes right down on the sea. yeah thats it, birmingham is about 45 mins north, worcester is about 20mins the other way Tim TB Developments

well most of the engine stuff is interchangable anyway isn't it so we'll be cool want to push the fitting service etc, also been building engines since i was 14 so got quite a bit of experience i mean our 3sgte highest build is 955bhp which i believe is the highest in europe, just shy of the world. but we've not even touched methanol yet haha Tim TB Developments
-
ok well sent him a pm anyway, we'll see how it goes. would be good to get into glanza's as i just bought one and love it for a 1.3 and would like to expand my mr2/celica specalist tuning company. Tim TB Developments

i did that a few months ago and didn't get a reply. I'll try again. Tim TB Developments

3s-gte Problems (gt-four)
TBDevelopments replied to haggis88's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
you ran a diagnostic on it? does the revs raise upto the normal 1300-1500 when cold or does it try and sit around 900rpm or lower? do you have a vent to atmosphere BOV on this car? it could be AFM like someone suggested, but then i'd exspect it to overfuel like mad when walm. It could be something like ECU temp sensor switch, timing off, TPS needs adjusting, base timing, slight airleak etc etc. let me know the first questions i asked and i'll do my best Tim TB Developments PS, don't mix me up with TM Developments, hahah i've got more 3sgte experience lol
