yeah, scotchbrite is the best stuff to use, but i havent had alot of luck with plastic primer, so i normally use normal primer. Rich.

cheers. i got the tacho from venom and it cost me £80 (i'll try an find their number if your interested) not that hard to fit, just some simple wiring. the mirrors are spa formula mirrors, and set me back £70 for the pair, i had to make my own base plates though, which was a total arse! as its a pain to attach them! i ended up drilling and bolting them into the door frame!! so not a job for the fiant hearted!! i am a bit of a novice when it comes to turbos, but as you can see from this topic, im still considering turboing my 4efe with 4efte parts basically using, 4efte exhaust mani, ct9, 4efte downpipe, 4efte tmic front mounted, maybe some 4efte injectors. and just letting the actuator control boost. is there any way round using a aftermarket ecu? i cant use a 4efte ecu because of the different ignition systems, can i not get a rrfpr and some bigger injectors? i really dont wanna do the fte engine change, and i really would rather not use a different ecu as there is no where local that can set it up for me. any ideas? is there a way around using a aftermarket ecu??? nice one mate. yeah, was just halfo paint. degreased it with some thinners, rubbed it down slightly, then painted it! Rich.

hes also good if anyone wants to try a fhe/fte inlet mani, which is also less restrcitive than the normal 4efe one.

cheers guys. i just gave it two coats in normal grey primer, and one thick coat in white (it was startin to rain, so not ideal) you should give it two coats in the top coat, but i ran outa time. plus i had to bring it inside to stop the paint from blooming. Rich.
