Lol Galliano, it took me a few weeks but I've finally got hold of one I thought I'd might as well replace the TB and Inlet Gaskets, so went down to see Toyota..£7 and I should have them by Wednesday! So unfortunately haven't fitted it yet! Although I'm gonna clean it out with some Carb Spray and give it a lick of paint tomorrow if possible! Oh and I've been thinking about this for a while, I'm hoping to keep my car for a good few years and build up my insurance NCB. I was thinking of an FTE conversion down the line, but I think I'd rather go all out and buy a GT/Glanza

  12. Alright so I thought I'd just wap a few photos up if the LEDs, I'm liking them a lot By the way, there ARE white but look bluey here, as the cliche goes, the pics don't do them justice lol One Yellow, One white Both done And finally, the interior festoon About the interior lights, I cleaned up the contacts for the switch in the doors thinking it would fix the fact that the light doesn't turn on when it's set on the door setting, but still no luck..But for some odd reason, when I push the dome unit inwards while its on the door setting (and obv with door open) the light glows/blin
  13. Awesome fellas! I'll have a crack at it tomorrow, thanks!
  14. Hey guys, I've noticed a little nagging problem, my interior light DOES work when you switch the lever to ON, but when it's on the DOOR setting, and the doors are open, it doesnt switch on..Any ideas as to what might be wrong? Is there like a switch by the doors that maybe wont release when I open the doors? Because I can't see one! Thanks, Amjad
  15. They're the regular W5W bulbs mate (the ones that plug into the sidelights) I've just fitted the sidelights, but obviously not that bright in daylight, so I'll take some pics when it goes dark..But haven't fitted the numberplate bulbs, does anyone know how I can get access to them? i.e. Do I just pry them from the outside, or take out the bootlid lining where there are (I think) 5 screw-clips?
  16. @ starlybruiser & Connor: Cheers guys, I appreciate the comments and feedback @ Lewis: I guess I should start letting the family know I'd like that plate then haha! Some goodies came in the post for me today Hopefully gonna get them fitted in a bit and maybe take a trip down to the scrappys to look for a mani!
  17. Yeah, I am quite fond of the colour, so I think I would keep it that way when I manage to sort out a Glanza spoiler! Cheers Sparky, yeah I was thinking of that, but I might be getting a private plate for my bday :surrender: (AMJ 371F)..Do you reckon that would look okay in the Jap plate layout? And if so, centre mount or on the side? Hmmm...
  18. @ LowRed: Lol yeah, I live in Cyncoed, but I'm always down by Roath and that..seen a GT Turbo or two and an SR, but never a Glanza in Cardiff..Are you driving one now? @ Dean: Thanks bud appreciate it! @ jonnygt: Yeah removing the Bumpstrips has made it niice and smooth :surrender: haha yeah I am really fond of these lights I finally took the spoiler off today lol looks a lot better imo! I left the mounts for now, I guess it isn't TOO noticeable, but I'm gonna get some rubber grommets and fill the holes with silicone for a temporary fix, and decide on what to do with the roof later..
  19. Haha, I'm hoping to take the car down to the dude who sorted my uncles BeeEm to see how much it'll cost..If I CAN get it done soon, I'll do so asap, otherwise just take the carbon fibre bit off leaving the mounts for now..Yes or no? I feel all welcomed now ;) thanks guys lol Tiny update: bought some white quad LEDs to replace the sidelights and numberplate bulbs, so I'll get some pics up when they've arrived and been fitted ..Not too sure whether I'm going to buy HIDs yet though, anyone got them on their Starlet? 22. Hey everyone! Been a member of the forum for a while, but I didn't own a starlet up until last week I was looking for a starlet back in '07 for my 1st car, but got impatient lol and opportunistically bought a 4efe AE101 Rolla, sold only 9 months later due to financial reasons I WAS thinking about buying a mint stock EP, and then doing it up from there, but being a college student without a job it wasn't gonna happen lol..Came across this one on Pistonheads, and thought hey, why not? Was going reasonably cheap, with bits and bobs that would have taken me ages to get hold of (wheels, seats e
