  1. Still can't find them mate, only seem to have the wee ones...
  2. Depends what direction you're going in, but you can't beat some classic stuff, like: Gat Decor - Passion Felix - Don't you want me / It will make me crazy Human Resorce - Dominator Jam & Spoon - Right in the night New Atlantic - Into the future Ah... The good old days...
  3. Yet more jobsworths with nothing better to do than to sit on their arse and moan... I really don't know what's happening to this country... You can't do anything anymore without some cord wearing fuckoid commenting on how it infringes human rights...
  4. I've got a new site I'm building (nothing flash, but it'll work on IE7), but haven't got around to uploading it yet... If you need to get hold of me about something, drop me a line on here!
  5. Enzo, you're the man on here, so no disrespect intended... But... Why bother with this post? It's already disappointing that both an Admin bod and a Trader became involved in a 'differing of views', when clearly, they should have both known better, but this isn't going to help either. All that will happen now, is yet more insults, more opinions, and more of a rift between the two sites... We're all here for a common purpose, and both sites are good at what they do (albeit in slightly different ways). Personally, I'd like to see all of the threads on both sites deleted, and everyone shou
  6. ^ As Monsiuer says ^, very rare... Heard of, but never seen!
  7. In 1994 (there or thereabouts), 2 petrol stations near to where I used to live had a price battle (even made the National news!)... My 309 GTi enjoyed drinking at just 39.9p a litre then! Now, it just cost me £60 bloody quid to fill up the tank in my Accord Type-R...
  8. I'll say the same thing I normally say... Just do your homework on the trader in Japan before you send off your money. There are lots of horror stories about people sending off their money and never seeing anything ever again... There are some very good traders in Japan, but typically, they buy from Auction, add on their percentage, and then sell to you, so you're including their profit. With that in mind, you could use a UK importer with a good repuation, and get a car from auction for about the same cost. Then, if something goes wrong, you don't have to get on a flight to sort them out!
  9. LOL, you've said it exactly! I've got one on mine...
  10. There's a fair few Starlet's down here, but most seem to keep to themselves... For example, I tried to organise a RR day, and it fell flat on it's arse! We're all too laid back down here, that's the trouble...
  11. Grades can only be used as a guide... I've seen Graded cars that wouldn't fetch a tenner down the scrappies being sold in Japan. Quite a few auctioner inspections can be fiddled if the owner 'knows' the inspector... That's why having someone check the car out in Japan is a must. However, if you like gambling, "you pays your monies and you takes your chance..."
  12. Nah, she imported it about 2 years or so ago...
  13. I'm sure JGT can add something to this thread when he's next on... ;)
  14. Mate, if I went East of England, that would be the last you'd ever see of me... I'd never come back! And I am being VERY serious!
  15. Can't let JGT have all the credit, I told him about that place! What? ;) The food's ace out there! Ramen bars, Coco Ichiban curry houses, Yoshinoya (although a stronger stomach might be an idea...), and Doutor coffee houses? You're getting spoilt me laddo! ;)
  16. I'm sure I saw a quad EP82 with white wheels the other day... Gonna chase it if I see it again!
  17. Someone's just nicked a set of RAP Lightweight wheels from my Mum & Dads... The weird thing is, they left his petrol hedge trimmers and strimmer, plus ignored a set of red alloys I've got, and went off with the RAP ones instead. Thing is, they look like white steel wheels, so why anyone would have them is a mystery. They can't have been nicked to order as no-one knows they're there! The only thing I can think is that they have good tyres on them... Here's a piccie: So, if you're in Devon and see these on a car, note down the registration number for me, as I doubt there's more than
  18. Yep, buy Banzai/Jap Performance/J-Tuner, look in th classifieds and get on the blower...
  19. In theory, they should be cheaper as no need for SVA, but prices for 1996 ones in Japan (good ones, not the dogs) have gone up. At the moment, there's the weird situation that I can actually pick up a 1998 one cheaper than a 1996 one...
