  1. ^^^^ exactly I've got an engine and gearbox in bits round the back of the house...! n its stayin that way till i can bother my ass to strip it.. parents dont really mind long as ma da can drive the car to the shops now and again... semms to keep him happy since his toys off the road at the min...(rs turbo) :o

  3. alryt man hows it goin!! im 19 aswell im insured with quinn.... car not insured in my name only with me as driver!! they did quote me in my own but was something completely ridiculous like 4grand....

    never touched it again and makes me sick thinkin about it...! lol

  5. i was goin to sell mine for a pulsar about 3 months ago, having a ral good think about it the best car between them is the starlet hands down. a pulsar is easy to squeeze extra bhp from but gearboxes are a once in 3 months sort of barrier if you thrash them around to much with to much power. the only option would be to buy one with a good box., sumthing like a quaiffe but these cost a f**kin fortune. dont get me wrong i would love to have one, they really are ferrari killers, i drove one with 340bhp when i was looking to buy and its was INSANE!!!!, but theres just something about the starlet that i would miss if i sold her..... Now shes my new project.

    very good luck with the choice mate, but if you go for 1 make sure its a good 1....

  6. It's not cheap! To do mine it cost me:

    CBT: £125

    3 day training course: £470 (including test fee)

    Then bike and gear:

    Bike: £850

    Insurance: £150

    Jacket: £160

    Trousers: £100

    Gloves: £40

    Boots £80

    Helmet: £120

    i didnt do a cbt not required over here plus i grew up on bikes soo new how to handle just had to learn the road sense

    bike-£3700 lol

    leathers-£400

    helmet-£400 with tinted visor!

    gloves-£40

    boots-£90

    cost a shit load but worth everypenny its as fun as the GT and i miss it..!!!! will def have a bike again.. for all those hu dont like bikes try it.. its sooooo much crak..!

  7. my text check send the reg to 83600 and its like a 5 to get all info like previously cat d colour change everything or go to the dvla. com and it will tell you what kina car and if its got road tax.

    i did that txt check on mine about 2 weeks ago and it told me they had no records of it..........!????

  8. well the time ov the year has come to stick her in for MOT its due at 4 later on..!

    well a few questions last my clocks are in 180mph using a converter. last year when takin it for MOT the boys said that they wer wrong and failed it. they said it must be dual marked and the only ones i could find wer the uk clocks with 110mph. so after an X amount of time i got it changed. (im not a mechanic it took me ages to figure it out.) but neways i took it back in and it past but i never removed the converter so it was right whan they failed it and wrong when they past it. got home and just changed it back.... lol. has anyone else had this problem as i have not swapped it back over to the 110mph for this MOT i myt jus put it in and see. a bit of advice would be great. ???

    also they said my lights were dodgy, this was due to wat looks like scratch marks on the lights. (looks like someone took a brillo pad or a wire brush to them). but after a thoro scrubbing and polishing they went thru all ryt. im afraid theyll tell me the same this time. my mechancic said there about on the limit ov passing. give them a good polish last nyt but not sure if it will be good enough. does anyone no of anything beter to clean them with???
