no worries mate. i have indiglo dials in mine and they are so cheaply made, 1 of them doesnt even light up anymore. stainless steel dials is where its at

you cant buy them for an sr, u could however change over to glanza dials then get them but it would be pointless ther shit anyway. jason_l has been making stainless steel dials for gt's and glanzas and i think he might be doing sr 1s next if u can wait.

myfirst car was an old mk3 1.1 fiesta. baught it from the car auctions the day i passed my test for 300 quid:D needles to say it fell apaart within 2 weeks but i still loved it. I've had loads of cars. my glanza has been my favourite then my mk2 xr2 that little car was great fun. got it off a customer of mines lol sorted him out with a living room carpet for his xr2 lol rolled that into a park tho:( RIP

thanks for the offer pal, I've sorted it out now its easier the way I've done it. he was out of order and wouldnt admit it so i had to do what i had to do, now ill just fix the car and move on with my spanky new front end:D

lol sparky. yeah it will be nice to have a fresh front end, i was planning on doing it anyway but not just yet money is tight for me in january and febuary due to work i have to make my money in december to get me through so this has come at a bad time lol but im in no rush atm ill get it done when i can afford it.

thanks for the advice guys, due to the fact we wer both m8s i didnt want to go to police, tbh i wouldnt go to the police who ever done it. but i have sorted it my own way tonight. i didnt ask for money or go to his insurance company but this is not the place to be talking about what i did! Anyway, the dude whos gonna fix it works from home and i cant drop the car off there because thers like 4 cars in his drive and 2 in his booth (yeah he has a spray booth in his back garden lol) he says to drop the front bumper off and he'll sort that out first then we can set about the rest, im not desperate to get it done im just pissed off a bit because im driving around with a bashed up car. I've also been speaking to a guy about a CF bonnet and we might come to an agreement 2moz, tbh i wanted to sort out my front bumper anyway after cutting it for fmic and the carbon bonnet would be a bonus and who wouldnt like a brand new set of headlights lol

it isnt as bad as i thought it would be. the guy is good. its the same dude who done my sill and u remember the state that was in. im not worried about the bonnet. if it wasnt my mrs' bday next week id have put my name down on your cf bonnet gb lol EDIT - the ic core is fucked mate the other side is fucked too, it was a 2nd hand 1 i baught and id already turned it to the clean side lol. i need a new hotside pipe route anyway so ill just buy a full kit

took some pics o the damage, it really isnt that bad, spoke to the guy who did my bodywork last time he can do it whenever i can drop the car off but i need the car atm as my van blew up lol (dont ask). he says the splitter should be fine and he will just smooth it into the bumper if i want:D was planning to get the bumper tidied up since cutting it for the fmic anyway. i need a new intercooler core as well as mines is fecked excuse the dirt on the car its not been washed in a few days doesnt look too bad does it?

as i said in my last post ill sort it out "my way" then fix my car.

been thinking about this all night and I've decided im not going to take it through insurance, the damage is very minimal except the front splitter which im gutted about:( the front bumper is fine just some scuffs and the bonnet is slightley bent at the front if i cant get it straigtened out ill just buy a new 1 as for the bumper id like a 98 spec 1 and i could do with some new headlights since 1 of the adjusters are broken. it wont be forgotten about tho ill sort it out my own way, the way i should have yesterday!

i dont actually know much about them tbh the 1 i drove was the turbo'd rs200. was modded and the dude says it wasnt a kick in the nuts off 300hp was a good drive, would defo have 1

thats what I've been thinking but i think id have stopped if he didnt come back down towards me. at the end of the day he was driving like a prick for god knows what reason and my cars taken the brunt of his stupidity. its all done now and theres nothing i can do about it until either he fixes it or his insurance company does. sure i could pay him a visit and and keep myself happy but that wouldnt fix the damage would it. it could have been worse my son could have been in the car so im thankfull for that.

i did keep my distance tho that the thing but as i got into a skid on ice he was sliding back down the hill towards me! luck hasnt been on my side recently and the car seems to be at the centre of everything thats going wrong lol maybe its time for me to move on to somthing a bit safer than a starlet anyway

yeah nathan its pretty shit. the saxo did come out on top tho, there isnt much damage to it. plus saxo parts are really cheap to replace

i know it was dangerous driving, and he does also. HE is just thinking of himself and tryinmg to think of a way out of it. When talking to him on the fne he says ill pay and fix mines and you pay and fix urs! haha then even cheekier says it was my fault for not bieng able to stop in time and also he cant afford it but i earn more money than he does so he thinks it would be ok for me to pay to have it fixed. by the way his 1.1 saxo needs a new FRONT! bumper (i was behind him lol) and thers a scratch on the wing. i just cant understand what must have been going through his head

he was a mate of mine and i wouldnt bring police into it. mine and his families are very close and i wouldt go to his door to hassle him. it will need sorted out but i dont want to go through insurance incase they blame me for not bieng able to stop in time! ther isnt much point taking pics of the damage its very minor apart from the 96 oem splitter snapped in half. who needs enemies when i have m8s like that eh?
