you are easily put off liam lol but yeah i wouldnt have been happy if i was sold a decat that didn t fit especially from some1 like ricky as his stuff is usually top notch whack 2 bolts onto the decat and tighten them against each other and they wont come off. had to do this with my glanza as i was loosing the nuts every couple of days.

mines tipped the scales at 980 with a full interior, spare wheel and half a tank of juice they arent much heavier. Wonder how light it could be but ive got a kid so cant strip it out:(

mines could really do with a rarb and these shit tyres are really letting it down atm but i never really get a chance to drive it in anger due to always having my son in the car. mines coming off the road next weekend to start work on it finally! when they are all done we will have to sort out a meet/trackday for a proper 4paw tear up!

my comment wasnt aimed at anyone, just in these types of thread in general. People always come out with the worst case scenario. i wouldnt just swap it over for a enw engine right away. are there any members local to you? maybe ask if they could swing by for a wee look at it? hope its nothing too serious buddy

how come every thread on here about cars somking theres always people just shouting out yeah its your valve stems, no its your piston rings, no its fuel cut . all your doing is making other people pick up on this and then they decide to say the same things in the next thread about a smokey car. no offence to anyone ,i know there are a lot of people in the know on here but its too hard to tell without having a look at the car. ITs ok to point people in the right direction but can you really give a diagnosis on a problem without seeing it or without getting a detailed description of the problem? it could be a whole host of things do a bit of research and start ruling things out 1 by 1 until you get to the bottom of it but because you have a little bit of smoke doesnt mean you have a major problem

1st gear is really short on mines, im sure when its boosted its gonna be far too short. they do handle awsome tho dont they, ive got budget tyres on mines atm and ive had a few brown pants moments but when i had the paradas on it was like it was on rails:D does yours have a rarb? i had a look under 1 day but i cant remember if it had 1 or not.

too much work has went in to this to throw the towel in now mate im sure it will be boosting again soon!

well i was in geronimos (kids play area) with the mrs and our son and he drove past on duke st in dennistoun. my car was parked right next to him facing him and he didnt even see it lol

My fne wouldn't let me type in the 1st post for some reason. Anyway it was 6p2 green with White wheels and carbon rear lip, pretty sure it was turbod aswell. I'm sure I've seen it on here before U sat right next my ep95 and didn't even notice it lol

Find out where it's knocking from first. Mines used to hit the gearbox, I had the downpipe extended a little bit and it solved it, my mates used to knock off the rear bumper bar and it just needed a small adjustment and a new mount

It wasn't hit by a van lads, it blew away in the heavy wind a few weeks ago lol, glad uv found a new shell can't wait to see it in action again

All cop cars' (marked and unmarked) registrations in glasgow start with SF so that helps for spotting them but they use loads of cars.
