Meisters are for the win for uk roads. Can go hard as you want but also can go softer as well for day to day stuff.

Bought a few things from Fro from different sales threads. All items were exactly as described and a good price as well. Would easily buy from again without any hesitation!

Thanks for the kind words everyone :-) Not totally sure the direction I want to go with the car yet but I think it will be just clean it up and make it bullet proof. Most likely drop down to a smaller turbo as well. Also toyed with the idea of a different colour, abotts old car is the inspiration so far due to being a really clean looking mk1.

Also bought a few things for it on the way home: Leads: Civic rad: Civic rad brackets: Greddy bov:

Well thought I'd start a thread since I got the car today. Firstly found this car on gumtree and remembered it from when I had my old 82 so thought I'd have a look, could easily walk away if I didn't like what I saw. A few folk I know knew a bit about it and I know it's had a hard life after it left Smythy, but hopefully it was still worth saving from neglect. Well details I know of it are: Td05 Greddy emanage ultimate Blitz ebc Bc coilovers Trd alloys Rmd steering wheel and boss to suit 3x pillar gauges, boost, oil and water temp Engine dampener Fmic Stainless exhaust, no idea of make Gi b

Manage to hold the leads for a few days as well as the other stuff I've asked about bud? -
Everydays a school day buddy, it's how you learn :-)

As the guys have stated really. If you've been pumping the pedal for ages and still a sponges feel they aren't bled enoug. Resi cap off, bleed nipple open push pedal to floor, then close nipple then lift pedal up, keep doing until when the fluid comes out it's a nice stream. i usually use a clear bit of silicone to a bottle so you can see once it's a constant stream with no sir bubbles, also saves on mess. Also keep an eye on the resi to make sure there is plenty fluid or you'll have to start again. Think the order is as Ryan said, furthest away from master cylinder to closest.

I can deffo imagine it is mint, but not what I'm looking for really. Nah ain't seen it, may have a look like. As mentioned would be leaning to the 82 shape though, saw smythy's old one but no answer from the seller like.
-
Haha it's a nice colour though!
-
Looking for a nice starlet, I guess I would lean towards mk1 82's or 85's though but I did happen to think the Arden blue glanza looked pretty sweet so semi open minded really. No real budget, but the nicer the more i would spend obviously. What you got folks?
-
At those prices you may as well get a quote for a year from a normal insurance company. As it might be cheaper that way. Insurance can be quite strange sometimes! But for short term insurance I usually just google it and try the first companies that pop up and go with the cheapest lol although usually just a day or 2 to get the car back to mine really.

Still waiting on info to see if I need the rad and brackets bud, sorry for the delay. Free bump for a good lad though, safe buying things fro from so don't have any doubts about buying! Also might be interested in the dump valve as well. -
I feel you knocking! For the price decent ones can be had for decent money now a days. Prices have fairly dropped since I was really active in the scene it seems. You done much to the ep3?
-
Get it bought min!
-
Looks pretty mental that does. You thinking of making a return to the starlet world Gaz? I was gutted that you had sold your 85, was always wanting a chance to buy it!
