ive got mine too! 9 days to go!
-
yeh ive started a thread about the 1.3 N/A performance. what have you done to yours and what gains are you seeing?
i think ive put the spec on another page, but enginewise (taken from what i wrote before);
Engine:
corrola inlet manifold 93 1gen 4efe
throttle body off a glanza v, which is around 5mm bigger (the standard throttle body wouldnt fit on the 93 inlet mani)
engine earthing kit
4-2-1 exhaust mani 1gen 4efe
BMC induction air filter (the enclosed filter restricts slightly and help lower rpm air flow and helps against heat soak from the engine bay)
glanza straight through backbox
removal of the charcole filter
I definatly notice a difference in acceleration to when it was completly standard, and also on the motorway between 60-80 picks up a lot quicker.. im yet to put her on the rollers but i hope i can hit the magic 100bhp.
anyway UPDATE
the car is now LOWERED, thanks to paul for basically fitting them, and gina and markoos for looking pretty while i was there.
pics, the sun came out especailly for us to fit the springs and shocks! it ruined a few pics though!
this was before they bedded in
this was after
oh and i fitted one of the harnesses i got off paul!
rear axel next?!
oh and spraying! will have to be after JAE now
due to lack of funds until my birthday the day after JAE finishes!
-
markoos running coilovers?!?!?!
lower than your grannys nipples ;D looks the sex in person on those new tanabee coilovers that paul fitted!
sorry about the glare forgot the sun actually effects photos..
-
come on guys.... thats clearly a misstake..
its obviously meant to be £15,954 not £159,544
or does he mean, £1595.44?
someone email him actually showing an interest at that price, might get a lol
-
r.i.p, always crap news when a close friend gets taken away from us, a lad i grew up with died in a car crash too, its almost 2 years now
thoughts with all his family and friends

Same mileage as mine! Wonder if mine could fetch that much..
Shafz.
i`d undercut them by 1g
see how they like competition!! plus yours is better!!.. scratch that, yours is worth more! go higher!!
-
fair price, nice low mileage!
-
i would be up for it if i wasnt working tonight mate
-
GT looks clean, i think you should swap the engines around, then they`d both be sleepers
noone would expect that GT to have an N/A engine and noone would expect the N/A to have the turbo engine haha
and i also missed the fuel flap at japfest
it does look awesome mate!
-
my ticket came
cant wait now!!!!
LOL paul!

some good pics there! and you got my lovely courtesy car in there too! lol
ye mark, i was waiting for you to put up a new build thread for the fiesta lol!
-
no worries mate, gotta find the info somewhere eh, always glad to help
some of the engine mods we've done to this has given it some decent performance aswell, definalty worth looking at aswell as the exterior
-
might be a really noobish question here, but im new to starlets, not even got one yet. however im guessing glanza bumpers bolt straight onto an N/A ep??
also the carat bumpers aswell?
thanks, and sorry for hijacking your thread, just you have obviously done it
as ste91 said before, they pretty much just bolt on, except the sideskirts will need drilling to put on or just do what ive done and tigerseal the side and fit the front bolts to where the mudflaps went and same with the spoiler.
if you get a glanza bonnet/bumper you`ll need the lights off a glanza too otherwise you have a gap as i did for a while before i got my lights;
they're great little cars, i love mine
even though it isnt a turbo... yet.

LOL at the question
Q: mate, not one bit of this car is made to look like a "GLANZA TURBO REPLICA". its a bog standard sportif! haha jokerA: look.. just because it has'nt got one of those whissly things that makes it sound like a bus or lorry brakes, And i dont have to take out a mortgage or,, even worse" go on me mum's and Dads insurance to run it, it sounds good to me!! twat
