  1. Definitely. Any half decent custom exhaust place will modify it to fit with new hangers and pipework. D
  2. Don't you just hate it when fuel cut rears its ugly head lol D
  3. 13 months mot is possible if its taken for test upto a month before expiry. D
  4. Tbh, i've found a 1 way valve to be the best way to bleed brakes. Use one every single time and get a solid pedal. Yet to do the starlet. Same routine, just got to make sure the nipple has a good seal in the caliper. D
  5. Like I said, coilovers are good for what they are, but might not be the answer to Rob's problems. Only downside with coilovers is alot of bumpy roads will kill them very quickly. A good spring and shock combo will outlive a set of coilovers anyday. And be more cost effective D
  6. Might be worth investigating your current setup. See if theres anything odd. Coilovers are an expensive way to cure it lol D
  7. What springs do you have fitted? I use tein s techs as I wanted a mixture of comfort and handling, I get good clearance and damping D
  8. I have a set of standard springs you can have lol? You'll kill a set of coilovers in that kind of area. D
  9. Are you still running the old oil filled shocks? I changed all mine to the kyb excel g gas shocks and they work very well with tein springs. D
  10. So in short. Does this answer your questionn Zoe lol? D
  11. Mines spotless:) No cracks or anything, no shaft play. Ideal for whacking the boost up D
  12. Just a tad, have a look on toyosports website, see if they list it on there D
  13. Its one of them arguments where there no winning haha. I'd rather max out my ct9 before making the jump to TD04, I drive pretty lightfooted in the starlet so the early boost is a bonus. Both turbos have they're own unique qualities, both can do things better than others. D
  14. That sucks matey. They think they're above the law. Hate it when pikeys set up local. Cause nothing but trouble D
  15. I'd sit somewhere nice and out of the way with an air rifle lol. Cant you park it somewhere that the general public cant access it? D
  16. Yeah I read it, Upto 200 they're fantastic but after they lose their edge. I can see where you're coming from in regards to lower boost levels. Suppose i'll make my mind up sooner or later lol Went out in a TD04 Glanza and the lack of response from low revs was quite noticable, especially round town D
  17. Oooh naughty, he's only 10 mins away too lol. Thanks D
  18. I noticed them earlier but didnt see much feedback about them, do you know of any uk stockists? Thanks D
  19. I'm happy with the CT9, once I get bored of that then i'll be looking at other options. One thing I do like about the TD04 is the drivability at lower revs, suppose if you're revving that high you could hold the boost, but just depends on driver and the car. D
  20. Does anybody know any telltale signs between a genuine and a fake unit? Or if anybody knows anywhere that does sell genuine items that would be great. Or if anyone has any alternatives they use? Many thanks D
  21. Its the pickup thats different, the CT9 comes on boost far quicker, whereas the TD04 being a bigger turbo, takes longer. If you can change gear quick enough to keep the revs high yeah I could see it being close. Good thing with the CT9 is you dont need to rev it that high. As with the TD04 you do to make the most of the boost. Be interesting to see a CT9 against TD04 with similar supporting mods against each other. D
  22. Replace it anyway, for what its worth, atleast you know its been done then you have no worries. D
  23. And then once you've got past, you'll then have to change gear and the whole spool up starts all over again lol. Very rich words coming from someone who's considering going back to CT9 lol. Everyones different though lol, I prefer the response to just one big kick. But then again, you I may change my mind over winter lol D
