yeh i have done engine conversions and drivetrain swaps etc just for the yaris thers no engine choice.

dont usually give an opinion after a few drinks but here goes . i think as said there are no gains to be had. for the 5th gear test etc i believe the cars that showed a difference ie a subaru would have been designed to run on the higher octane fuel so woud give a best result on the higher octane fuel. maybe 35bhp better than 95 ron but not 35bhp up on standard. and as shahzad said there is only 1 refinery for scotland so unless shell or bp are paying more to import fuel ( no chance ) you are all buying the same stuff from tesco shell and bp ( 99 ron ) just different prices. hope that made sen

I've always been confused by this aswell but not looked into. i know that changin boost changes fueling etc so does that not mean it will need remapped when you change the boost ? sorry for hijacking the thread but the answer will probably help you too

have done a quick search and found a few people say 1 bar but is that the actualy limit or will it live past that ??. I ask because i thought it was 1 bar and a mate just bought a gt on a standard turbo at 1.1 bar. Russell
