Checked the EP82 and it is listed but as you say NLA from the dealer.

However, when you look at the engine for sale in the eBay ad it doesn't look like the bracket above. It looks to me like an EP82 PAS lower adjuster bracket with an idler pulley bolted through. Not a vertical sliding pulley bracket with separate tensioner bolt.

I can't seem to find this setup in the Toyota EPC. Doesn't really matter I guess.

Think your right mate the more I look at it that is a home made effort and not the factory part. 

I'd love to find the factory one but it must have been such a rare setup.

Looks like a 'mare to adjust, do you just pull to tension or is it sprung loaded or eccentric bolt?

It's a adjuster bolt that pulls the idler pulley upwards to tension the belt. Sadly the parts are discontinued as strangely I'd like to run this setup to keep AC but go electric power steering to get the air filter behind the drivers headlight.

Doesn't look too bad until you get to the PAS bracket "mod" to keep A/C and delete the pas pump, 4efe dizzy, coil, 2 plug 4efe ECU (other 2 ECU loom plugs appear to have been cut off and replaced with piggy back plug connections), forward facing thermostat cap from an auto?!

Think I'll pass on that   

You could get a 4efte without PAS and with AC very weird option but it was available as its shown on the EPC and they are factory parts.

Useless unless you are Jap sized very little room for anyone 6ft+ and totally pointless rear seats imo.

I'd have been seriously looking at getting one if not had one brought already but as soon as i sat in one i knew there just wasnt enough room in it.

Why not make it into a true 2 seater like it should be?

LPG it and use it as a daily?

You'll need to do a fair few miles to get back what a good conversion would cost you but if it's a keeper then after that it becomes a very cheap car to run
