  1. Been trying to fit my coilovers ever since they came nearly 2 weeks ago now, so today I decided to take the day off work and get stuck in.. Took about 3 1/2 hours in the end and every nut, ever bolt was seized to kingdom come.. An impact wrench, lots of elbow grease and some GT85 later I managed to get everything bolted up. Unfortunately I've not even got time to go for a spin but I will be making my way to the train station in an hour or so, so it'll be interesting! Going to give it a wash tomorrow and I'll get some pics taken, all I can say is that it LOOKS a HELL of alot better, actually lo
  2. Looks like a great base to start from mate, looking forward to seeing what becomes of her!
  3. I knew it wouldn't be long until I had a set of coilies, had these delivered today after Interlink being a bunch of tards last week and not getting them for me till today . I am dying to get them fitted, got to pick a set of axle stands up tomorrow to help in fitting and hopefully come Thursday I can have a go at fitting them! Can't wait to get the car lowered, looks naff after the T-Sport wheel went on. Still got loads of stuff to do, going to try and order up some new headlights this month, new front emblem, new original rear quater stickers and I might even see if I can afford a rear anti
  4. Just given my Glanza a quick wash after work! I do like the wheels but I desperately want to get them re-painted, they're not quite up to my standard.. On the upside I got approoved for a new flexible friend, hello Miester R's .
  5. I've got a VERY old Sony DSC-W15, its ancient now.. Could do with replacing but its not bad. It helps balancing them, resizing and sharpening in Photoshop though. anup67: I paid £100 for the full set of wheels, locking nuts, standard nuts but without tyres. Wheels are in good condition, no kerbing or major marks but just a few bits of missing paint. I think I got a fairly good deal on them and I just bought a complete set of Rainsport 2's for them off of Ebay .
  6. I just read about that 10 minutes ago, will definetely consider going depending on what I'm doing nearer the time!. Definetely does need lowering although I knew it would anyway, hopefully if I get my credit card approoved I'll be buying a set of Miester Zeta-R's in a week or so.. Definetely needs them!
  7. Hi mate, just to let you know I've finally fitted my wheels . Link: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....mp;#entry391825
  8. Just a very quick update, till I can properly clean and take some pictures of my car! I've just put on a set of Yaris T-Sport wheels, painted in antracite and a brand new set of Uniroyal Rainsport 2's. The cars abit dirty so please excuse that, another member wanted to see what it looked like so I thought I'd just do a quick one. I would like to get the wheels re-painted but I didn't really have time to do that as one of my old tyres had umpteen nails and puncture repairs in it so I had to get them on, I also now need to paint my calipers! Still, I think it looks alot better .
  9. I want to order up my RainSport 2's this week, so hopefulyl they'll be on for weekend.. Will keep you posted if I get them on!
  10. I've actually got a set I am waiting for tyres for, they're painted in gunmetal also and they too will be going on a silver '96 Glanza.. I think they look nice
  11. Awesomely clean looking car, can't believe you wanted paint work doing although it looks even better for it.. Can't say as I blame you though, I'm just as fussy! I see your in Manchester.. Where abouts? Whats the name of the sprayers you used for the paint work? It looks like they've done a great job and I've been looking for a place to do some work for me. Thanks in advance!
  12. Still having issues with this although in partly due to something else now. I tryed to change the facia plate on my EP91 Glanza V from the replaced MPH one to the original KMH facia, I'm doing this as I now have a proper cable operated converter which I'm waiting to put in after I change the facia. I've always had an issue with my speedo however where the needle seems so stick, it doesn't ever seem to go back down to 0 when it should do and it tends to stick at varying places. I was told it could be catching on the facia but after having looked tonight I can't see that it does. This however
  13. I've just purchased a set of the standard Glanza V alloys to replace the crap steelies I have at the momment.. Any idea if the nuts I have now will be suitable? Thanks! Ash.
  14. Can't seem to find the number for this, its the emblem thats on the front grill off of a '96 Glanza.. Not the '98 facelift which used a sticker. Any ideas? Thanks!
  15. I did wonder whether that could be the case.. I did read its quite easy to remove the dial cover without removing the entire cluster, any ideas how I can do this? Cheers.
  16. I've been having issues with my speedometer needle since purchasing my car, and I believe damage could of been done by the previous owner whilst fitting a MPH facia. Basically the needle doesn't seem to have tension to return itself to the 0 setting and often the needle, even while stationary doesn't drop below 10mph although if you tap the cover it does move down slightly. I have just ordered a proper cable operated converter and want to re-fit the original KMH speedo facia, but obviously I want to sort the needle out in the process. Has anyone got any suggestions of how I can fix it, or is
  17. I bought it off a member off of the UKSC named Ady2k5, came from Leeds/Bradford way .
  18. ...a standard one! I have just recently passed my test at 23 and bought my Glanza last November time I believe it was, so obviously this is my first car and coming from a car orientated back ground (My dad is a 50 odd year old nutter), obviously I couldn't go for your regular Ford Fiesta or Nissan Micra.. So after looking at anything and everything, I decided to go for a Glanza.. Few reasons really, I wanted something quick, relatively economical and the most important thing.. Insurable! I looked around for a good number of months trying to find a relatively standard, if not standard example
