if theres a scrapping noise in the box its maby the bearing has collapsed and it flinging bits round the box depends if you get a new clutch probs about 100 pounds to fit new bearing because you have to take the gearbox out but if your losing fluid you have have probibly got a blown clutch slave cylinder not a costly job just a hours labour and the bit hope it helps dave

if the abs light doesnt show atall on a car with abs wen the ingnition is it will fail as said above same with the airbag light if it still has a air bag in the steering wheel or wherever and it doesnt show or stays on its a failer a need to check this near enough everyday for mots alot of stupid rules/laws

hav you checked the fuse for the cigarette lighter they go often when wired into

hi mate theyre pretty easy to change to be honest aslong as you have the tools you can pull the shaft out without taking the inner joint out of the gearbox if you no what a mean its just 3 circle bearings that attach it to the hub sorry for the sh*t explanation lol good luck
