  3. Received mine the other day. So happy with them, highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy! Excellent service aswell Thanks mate
  4. Id be well up for this aswell, sounds like it would be a cracker day!
  5. Im due an oil change now anyway. i just checked it, its on the min line
  6. Do you mean loosen as in start to remove the plug? or the actual screws? The car drives 100%, only when stopped the idle problems kick in like. Its so annoying, when people are crossing at the lights they think i'm going to run them over because the cars revving up and down like mad lol. And yeh that pipe is connected at the top. Just tried that there now, also pulled out the EFI with it, but no luck. Totally agree with this, it's not getting to the root of the problem, although nobody as of yet can seem to find the problem, so this is looking the only way to sort out the idle, although
  7. Im not sure about the TPS being calibrated, is that something you could do yourself? I loosened it there and no change to the revs, if anything though they went higher. Yeh i have double checked the pipes, fuel regulator, and the other 2 that go into the intake mani.
  8. Alright? Im hoping somebody on this forum could shed some light on this problem. Basically I have a n/a 4EFE. The only mods are Glanza 'S' intake and fuel injectors with a HKS panel filter. Bout a month ago i decided to take my TB off to give it a well needed clean along with the fuel rail. When I connected everything back up I started the car and the choke didn't appear to come on. It was revving at around 1K (stable), where usually it would start at around just under 2K. I didn't think much off it as the car hadn't been started in over a month. So I drove the car about and when I stopped a

  10. if theyre meant so send you a confirmation email, check your spam box, sometimes email accounts can pick up genuine emails as spam
  11. Im running it under linux and it is still in beta, but i find it works well, especially speed wise, although few things i don't like, there is no drop down menu for last viewed websites, and when I'm scrolling down a page it jumps about all over the place. But no errors. Its good, but needs improving, Best feature though has to be 'incognito mode' lol Although can't go far wrong with firefox, would be my preference, never use Internet Explorer, too many vulnerabilities with it!!
  12. Same here, quality of them was excellent
  13. cheers il look there tomorrow, do the ones you have also act as a brake light?
  14. I have oredered 98 spec glanza lenses, the first ones on this page here, to go on my standard uk clusters. I just need to know will these red bulbs be ok for the top, for providing a red light and brake light? clicky I have red bulbs here but they come out more like pink and I failed MOT the other day because of this thanks
  15. Im trying to wire up my front foglights, I bought a wiring kit with a relay and an on/off switch. i plan to mount the switch beside where the headlight adjuster is, but i cant find anywhere to feed the wire from inside the car to the engine bay. Can anyone shed any light on this, is there a space that I can feed the wire through? cheers adam
  16. I was thinking of braided lines, although when I read up on them it usually states it improves brake "feel", does this mean it will make my brakes better or will it make the pedal feel better (and not actually improve my braking)? :harhar:
  17. (Before I start I've already searched the forums for an answer to this) I have an 98 SR (No ABS) and since I've had it the brakes have been crap. I recently had to change my pads, and when I went to do so, I noticed there were big ridges on each of my discs. I thought this must be the reason for the poor stopping. So I replaced my discs and pads (with standard ones from local autopats store) + put in fresh Dot 4 fluid, and bled them. 500miles later they dont feel any better, I dont feel any braking at all until the pedal is depressed around 2inches, and even at that, there really bad. I'm
  18. Could it be what motion is talking about, a signal from the knock sensor?? Adam
  19. I went and had a look. From what I can see I don't think I have a Knock Sensor, although i might have missed it. Do you have a knock sensor?? And does this have any effect using glanza 'S' ecu, fuel rail, injectors?? Adam
  20. have a look at this although quite expensive, but looks really well. Il second that, my car is off the road again as we speak, due to my petrol tank taking a hit going over a really bad speedbump (second time this has happened ) mines only lowered 40mm on standard SR shocks. Adam
  21. I checked my ECU this morning, its got two plugs. @Phil - yeh was thinking that myself about the RON, I'll just wap in some Shell V Power @RobSR - I have very little knowledge on cars, what would be the reason the car wouldnt run? Ive ordered the glanza S ecu along with the fuel injectors, would I need something else? Also with this setup of ecu and injectors would I need to upgrade my FPR or would the stock one I have be fine? (I have searched for this already but couldnt find a definitive answer) thanks Adam
  22. I need the answer to this aswell anyone know? free bump
  23. Think im going to settle for the rear ARB and anti lift plates. The reason i dont want coilies, is because I do a lot of country road driving, with lots of pot holes, and its bumpy enough as it is. Thanks everyone for the input, most helpful Adam.
  24. Im looking to improve the handling on my SR as it feels like its going to flip, going around corners. Ive looked into this a fair bit, I dont want coilovers What I need to know is, what would give me the best results for handling? I was thinking to get an RARB?? Or is there something better I should get first? I have standard SR shocks with Apex 40mm lowering springs Thanks Adam.
  25. Tiger seal, the stuff is magic. I stuck my spoiler on with it and it is very sturdy. its about £5 of ebay Adam.
