    have you got a boost gauge?

    and what reading is the gauge giving at 3k(full boost)?? Is that in all gears???

    my jam ecu(which im now selling) wink

    fitted mine with no problems like yours. (my is manual transmission)

    who did you buy the ecu from?

    did they run it on there car for a while ??

  2. put my glanza back to nearly enough standard engine.

    cat

    front mount intercooler

    air filter normal position.

    standard ecu

    ported manifold

    no boost restriction(completely removed, no solenoids.

    In second gear I carnt get the 3 boost lights to come on.

    i can get two.

    My actuator has the vac hose from top to turbo

    and the spare line from actuator that is supposed to go to the boost solenoid. is left open.

    (nothing blocking it off.

    the standard dump valve(recirc thingy)

    i have no lines attached to this. as i have a DV and a breather filter on rocker.

    any ideas??

    im getting around 0.5 bar on my boost gauge/maybe 0.6

    yea the spring on the baileys is pants!

    only need slight hand on the throttle cable and can see the spring in and out!

    its probably leaking to be honest!

    Id be happy with 250/300!

    Had a full polish & clay other day.

    MINT! need to get some pics up!

    Plans for tomorrow.

    1) fit interior back in

    2) remove coilovers and deflectors(selling them)

    another thing on the wind deflectors( they dont let hardly any air in the car, so im windows down, literally on fire when driving.

    General Clean over engine bay! due to the coolant :)

    Also had issues with the fog lights coming on with full beam!

    Dont want to be one of them twats with his fogs on, when it isnt foggy!

    also fixed the sideskirt as was hanging off(not perfect, but better)

  4. Update on this!

    Got insured,tax all legal other week.

    Car is doing well!(touchwood) lol

    Had a few hiccups.

    Had a water leak in which put coolant all over my engine lol(orange coolant ftl)

    part from that good!

    Really good! Fun to drive.

    But ive noticed a few things.

    Firstly motorway driving.

    Its horrible.

    sitting at 60/70 i only need to touch the pedal(a MM) and it wants to come on boost

    guessing i should stick my EFI pipe back on if i wanted to do more motorway?

    Due to my work i have to do the lovely drive to manchester now and then(once a month)

    The interior will be going back in!

    and a new backbox rubber as mine is snapped!(weird)

    What sort of mileage you lot getting to a tank?

    Also seem to always here my BOV wooshing on the motorway too!

    its all around the battery area and inlet area, where thermo is.

    The water temp didnt rise. and nor did engine temp.

    car was fine no problems.

    I didnt even notice it. till just popped bonnet.

    what could this be?

    ive just noticed that one of the turbo water lines(silicone hose) hasnt got a p clip on the end

    could this be the cause?

    the pipe heating up causing it to spray out the hose end and move around engine when moving?

  6. New. Update. After post 3

    Actuator was stuck open.

    I've undo it. Went for a quick test. And I can now get one green boost light but nothing more.

    Not alot of turbo pressure there at all

    Carnt find any leaks.

    Could this be the actuator not holding flap down?

    Any other ideas?

    Hello again lol

    Right stuck my stock actuator back on

    Went for a drive.

    Hit boost. Went to 1 bar n went pop

    No boost. Engine management light came on n went off again.

    But no whistling like a leak.

    It boosts as 0.2 bar so slow lol n only seems to come in at higher revs

    No leaks as I took the piping off and can feel turbo pressure under revs. Not on idle

    No oil in ic piping

    N no whistling.

    Dv works as I can see it going in and out.

    Ideas?

    Stock actuator is on

    Vac hose from actuator to turbo.

    And the spare one on actuator at back is blocked off!

    Nothing really to get. Just thought it would get alot more interesting but hasn't yet!
