  1. lmao seen this before. Turned up the volume and shit half the office up haha
  2. £1500 jesus. cheap as chips mate. Is there anywhere other than here, pistonheads and autotrader to find a Glanza? All on pistonheads at the minute aint too great.
  3. That the reason why id rather start from scratch. But with only a few mods say cat back, filter there wouldn't be much not to know
  4. How much did that set you back? If ya dont mind me askin.
  5. I agree with both of you. I don't earn the largest amounts of money so startin with a few mods will eaze the money situation but on the other hand as badass says, will it be ragged? I hate descitions
  6. Evening Guys and Gals, I'll be looking a buying a Glanza in the next month or so with a budget of approx £4K but need some help. I'll be modding it with an aim of a reasonable BHP and handleing. Do i buy an already modded Glanza with say stage 1 mods? Or Buy a mint standard one and start from scratch? Obviously it will be cheaper in the long run with mods already on it but its always nice startin from scratch. Im suck with what to do Can someone talk me into a descition? LOL Cheers in advance Ben
  7. Ive never believed in stuff like this but that looks pretty believable. Although it gotta be some sort of money making scheme.
  8. Yer you can buy inline fuse holders from Maplins. Regards to turning it off, there should be a switched ignition supply for the radio anyway which will turn off with the ignition. so running a new cable from the battery will be exactly the same as running it from the fuse box.
  9. Not nice. Sounds like somethin on that fuse/line has become short circuit. Its worth getting it checked out even if you dont have the work done. But regards to power to the radio just run a cable straight from the battery to the radio.
  10. I'm up for it Channelle I'm same as Nikko though, no Glanza YET but wouldn't mind having a nose around your cars haha
  11. Coming from a 'noob' starting out in the Starlet scene its sounds a great idea. There are a few different models, specs etc available and it takes a while to get your head around them all. Setting up this idea will give us new people an idea of what to look for and the prices that comes with them. Plus it might just save a few of us from paying through the teeth for one. It gets my vote Sorry if it wernt my place to comment in this thread.
  12. No probs, i'll let her know your calling. Don't what ever you do link the tweeters to the mids if there is no crossover. It'll blow em n then your f*cked. It all sounds a damn mess to be honest. Wire it all from scratch is ya best bet
  13. Right im confused now. As they are a factory fitted optional extra im not actually sure weather there will be a crossover or not. i was just assuming. It might be worth researchin the kit they supply and find out weather there was a seperate crossover or not. Once you've found out whats what, ripp it all out and start again, well thats what i would do. It might be a bit of work but at the end of the day u know where you are and it wired correctly. Regards to the looms. You will need to buy two different leads. One that will plug into the toyota wiring which will adapt the toyota plug to 'ISO'
  14. I'm not sure if that is a car forum or not but look at his post count. He must have been on that forum for a long while and must have read similar threads but has still gone ahead and got basically raped!! He's also a young driver so within a year or 2 he will be fed up with the poor preformance and require somethin with more poke. EPIC FAIL on his part, lets hope he can keep up the payments and not get bored of the 'nice car'
  15. If theres tweeters and bass drivers then there should a crossover there somewhere. It might be worth locating this before u get stuck in.
