Year: 1997
Model: EP91 Glanza V
Tax: September 2013
MOT: April 2014
Mileage: About 50k
Description: I have decided to sell my beloved Glanza as I'm not using it enough to justify keeping it! I've owned the car for about 4 and a half years. It was imported by Private Imports for me in 2009 and I am the only registered owner in the UK. It entered the UK having done around 40k miles and in the last 4 years it hasn't seen a great deal of miles - so is sitting around 50k miles just now. Last year it did 1200 miles and haven't even done 1000 yet this year! Anyone who knows me knows that I treat my cars well and pretty much just clean them all the time! The Glanza has lived its life as a garage queen, and has never seen any winters since its been in the UK. It is never driven in bad weather as I have another car. The car is always filled up with Shell V power. I have had the car on the dyno at wallace performance a few times making sure fuelling and everything is ok and they've always said its a strong healthy engine. I have loads of receipts and i always spend a ridiculous amount of time detailing the car.I really don't know how to price the car as in my opinion due to its low mileage and excellent condition it makes the car pretty desirable. I am happy to discuss price privately and would appreciate people not commenting on the list price. I am also willing to remove some parts and sell off bits which in turn will lower the price of the car.The spec is roughly as follows:1997 Toyota Starlet Glanza V TurboImported in 2009 by Private Imports1st owner in the UK50k ish milesMOT - April 2014Tax - September 2013WhiteClear Japanese HistoryAlways ran on Shell V-powerNever driven in winter or even seen salt on the ground, garaged every night, meticulously cared for, total garage queen!Fully undersealedStandard factory tinted windowsStandard bumpers and body kit all roundGlanza S bonnetAero wipersRear wiper removed and blankedOil and filter changed every 1-2k miles (sometimes even more frequently)Fully servicedVinyl sunstripWhite Speedline wheels multi fit - lightToyo R888 tyres all roundTein HA coiloversWhiteline front anti roll barUltra racing lower h braceWhiteline anti lift kitTRD engine mountsJUN extended wheel studs 10mm10mm spacers at frontK sport 6 pot big brake set up - barely usedBraided front brake linesHas been fully stripped out inside - will come with full interior to put back to standardOMP dished suede steering wheelPro sport oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature gaugesBlitz mechanical boost gaugeHdi dual boost controller with gaugeToad alarm systemTongs hybrid ct12 turboZisco stainless steel ram horn manifoldZisco stainless steel decat pipeBosch batteryTmdevelopments race spec rocker coverCatch can with twin line set up and breatherHks actuatorUK spec radiator with blue silicone pipes5zigen pro racer zz exhaust systemBlitz access ecuBlitz front mount intercooler - genuineCustom short route hot side intercooler pipeFront mounted air filter with green filterMagnecor ht leadsNgk spark plugsRacetech braided oil feedRear cusco upper strut braceAdjustable fprWalbro fuel pumpExedy clutchTurbo timerI am keeping the Recaro seats and TRS harnesses for now so car will come with standard interior. Cheers mate!
Def not a GT kit, only thing i want to change is rear lights to GT lights, and get it sitting better at the rear, but spending money on the glanza just now
Maybe turbo it in future but loving it as a daily!

Not a very exciting update...but may as well post it up!
Decided the wiper arms were looking a bit shit after winter, had gone very rusty and rough! Made a wee spray booth in my garage for the job!
Sanded down and primered:
Then painted matt black:
Then i got in the mood for spraying things so put the 85 up on stands and decided to spray the wheel nuts properly as they looked a bit tired!:
Fitted my UKSC stickers on the rear 1/4 windows
Pic out in the sun:
Shine
Cheers!

Ill add to this...
Top lad to deal with, quick replies and sent the harness out straight away. Kept me updated with tracking numbers etc.
Cheers mate, pleasure to deal with!

I'm out too, Glanza wont be coming out of hibernation until April!
-
aye LOVE the look of that i think it looks actually better than the GT EP82 look tbh!
are you keeping it that look or changing it to a ep82??
Cheers for the comments folks!
Yeah keeping it like that, might get some GT rear lights to keep the back end looking a bit better but fine for now. But i love the look of it with the 85 kit, and the gt rear bumper!
-
Seeing as i havent updated this in months:
Went over it recently with some jeffs prime then put 3 coats of sealant on to get it back to tip top condition
As for the writing on the windows, i just scraped it off with an ice scraper and the small bits left with my nail!
-
i'd be keen for this but doubt ill have the glanza out for a while yet!
could come along in the 85 for banter though!
-
i should still be keen for this depending on date and if the glanza is out again ken! fair distance to travel to go on the rollers but the banter would be off the scale on the convoy down....
get your driving pose out fro!
-
I'm up for this as well, depending on the date I might have the Glanza, if not ill take the 85

in Cars For Sale
Posted
As Fro mentioned in my for sale thread, I worked on his car for 4 days solid getting the paintwork spot on. He actually left the car in my garage for some time after I was finished cause it was too clean to drive I have also regularly waxed it since it got machine polished so it's stayed super fresh.
I've had the pleasure of being in this car on numerous occasions and have to say it's awesome. With out a doubt the cleanest GT i've seen.
I think you are also guilty of having a garage queen buddy!
Gutted I might not get to see it again but good luck with the sale!
