Car-less thanks to some dizzy bint who spun out and crashed into me, writing off my car
Does mean I have money for a Glanza and I've been thinking about future mods.
-
Glanza baby!
-
How much and are they worth it?
-
ghetto doughnuts!

What about CIS, Performance Direct and Bell Direct, I've been insured with these guys in the past and they've been pretty good, I was with herts insurance and performance direct with my modded mini when I was 21, could try those.

Did you get quotes for a Glanza I meant through those sites?

I'm interested in finding out too, I did find quotes through moneysupermarket.com and autotraders sites.

my mate had one of those in uni, went like stink, cracking engine on it, even with 6 of us in it

Not many shows around your area, I guess www.devoncarshows.co.uk is the closest? Might wander down to JAE and maybe the Pod sometime.

Hey there, the car looks cool, I'm liking the stickers, yeah that orange one can't be taken off, it'd spoil the JDM racer look and probably mean something bonkers like Ultra Turbo Fast Shiny! or something equally crazy
p.s, shouldn't be too far behind you in getting a glanza

Never had that problem in Sneyd Park

do they make much difference?

Here's my pics and a few videos from Saturday, nice pic of my Astras front end after my crash on Wednesday, thankfully wasn't my fault, did get a touch of whiplash though
Had a stroll past the stand on the way out and had a quick chat with shifty from the toyotagtturbo forums, but didn't have a chance to speak to many people as I had to dash.
Did clock Shellys car on one of the stands, car looks good! Just one or two things on the dash

yeah, thats just simple back firing... most just go bang... it must be overfueling by loads and have a really hot exhaust to make it spit flames, or hes got a popper in the exhaust or the ignition is retarded loads!
Rich.

Yeah once I got it on the rolling-road it calmed down a lot, made an extra 15bhp at the wheels and was better on juice too.

wid? ah "with"...I think I understand what you've written
I think flames out your exhaust is usually a result of very high lift cams (or anti-lag on a turbo) my old mini used to do it when lifting off quickly at high revs, looked cool, sounded better popping and farting on the over-run. I'm guessing that there's a lot of unburnt fuel which ignites in the hot exhaust manifold. Not sure if you'd want to replicate it on a modern starlet though as it'd probably fry your cat...you could get yourself a flamer kit, but those look crap

Looking at the spec on ebay it says it's engine is a engine size is 1295cc, (16 valve EFI), isn't a 4efe engine bigger than that?
Would be a cracking Q car though
I have seen a suzuki pickup with a hayabusa engine which does 0-60 in just over 3 seconds, looks mental!

The filter is pap but I did find the glanza:
