thanks again folks. insurance is with Adrian flux, policy is with highway, they said i ccould salvage it if they wrote it off, but wot use is that! i'd be out the write-off money, have to reinsure the car all over again as a Cat D or whatever write-off and STILL need to repair it from my own pocket. its actually cheaper to keep the insurance folk out of it. i dread to think wot they would even give me for a write-off, whatever book price is i guess, which is probably like....£500. i couldnt do anything with that! rick and i are organising a back bumper that should be here early next week, until repairs the car will sit in my garage as I've been put off work and dont need to go anywhere else. exactly dude. well heres some mor of the damage with the surface shit hosed off, pretty fucked up like. gutted isnt the word. i just stood and stared at it after we hosed them off, it just doesnt compute in my brain that THATS MY CAR!!! it was in great nick, now its wrecked!nit just doesnt add up in my head, i didnt do anything to any fucker and me and my family get this shit. ^^^^^yeah Jon man i heard of that one too! as far as im aware these are not the kind of people i want to piss off, i didnt do anything to them in the first place, none of my family did, yet this happened anyway, they were sending a message to people in larne and used us and 2 other families to send their message. one of the other cars was a £50k convertable BMW up my street, everyother car hit will be covered by insurance, mine is the only one that isnt because of its "value"! we got the cars hosed off and fairy liquided down today, its shown alot more damage than we first thought. on my car alone the drivers front wing, bonnet, front bumper, roof mouldings, drivers door, both a-pillars, passenger mirror, drivers rear panel, roof, passenger rear panel and get this...the WANKER got it on my wind deflectors!! its made a mess of them too!!!! FFS!!!!!!!!!!!! how the hell can i replace them!!!! OEM ones dont appear for sale every damn day! also, it gets worse, the passenger rear window, he has managed to get it RIGHT IN around the window and along the roof moulding, that means they need to come out, and it has dribbled between the bonnet and drivers wing and got the inside edges of the wing!!!! estimate from my painter today was £1500 excluding new bumper, duck tail and fixing one of the carat lights, i also requested the bump strips be removed. i have a different painter comin to look at the weekend. doc has put me off work for 2weeks stress. there are a number of security issues that we need to address now, obviously security is one of them, but some are more important. i have some pics of the damage with the flaked paint removed, shows a bigger mess, uploading them now. thanks for your support guys. unfortunately it wasnt wee shits that did this, it was the kind of people who u cant really fuck with without serious repercusions. i dont know exactly who it was but the police seem to have a fair idea but u know as well as i do that nothing will come of it unless they find the stuff used to do this in some fuckers house. they have been upset during the nite by the local police and have set about targeting certain folk, unfortunately our house was one of them, a generic attack more than being one of 'here u know that phil cunt? lets wreck his car!', it wasnt that kind of attack. NI lads will know wot im on about. at present it looks like im gonna have to pay for this myself, writin her off and gettin a glanza would only serve to financially ruin me further. Rick phoned me for 45mins and i cant thank him enough, the boot and spoiler and back bumper were the only major parts not wrecked, but while a full repsray is bein done i may as well get the glanza rear bumper conversion and duck tail done. i just dunno wot to say really, all the wind is out of my sails. im still goin ahead with the wheels, i dont wana give up on the car, theres nothing MECHANICALLY wrong, its aesthetics, but expensive aesthetics! the FTE conversion will be a long way off now. there will probably be no retrebution for this, im just gonna have to take it on the chin and try to sort it as best as i can. thatcham cat 1 alarm sensed NOTHING obviously because theres no motion/proximity sensors, only the internal ones for windows bein smashed. i hope wotever piece of shit did this sleeps well in his bed, big fuckin fella doin it in the dead of nite!
