yeah thats what my boyfriend said. can always turbo it that wouldn't be for a while though lol. im interested in a couple of SR's on pistonheads and that. just waiting for my money to clear into my account and its all gravy

yeah something cheap and reliable is what i want. being only 18..the insurance on a GT was shocking lol. 4500 i think was the cheapest quote i got. maybe higher :S nearly had a heart attack when i saw that!! i was going to go for an MG ZR, but people were telling me how unreliable they were, so im aiming for a starlet

alright guys and hello dean im katys brother, my saxo was claimed at 180-185bhp it was an lad motorsport conversion one but in actual fact it was about 150bhp as its hard to get past that without throttle bodies, it just had the usual cams, 421 manis, straight through exhaust, decat, induction, port and, port and polished head uprated gearbox and clutch and some other bits. was a fantastic car very fast for what it is. but i went and got myself a toyota after dean on heres got his starlet also rory no dought i imagines on here and also our other mate bought himself an mr2 turbo so i went out

lol the chappy who had it before him spend 6000 just on the engine. it was a vts engine with alot done to it lol. there was no NOS haha lol

yeah ive looked on pistonheads and that and emailed a few people theres a nice sportif on pistonheads but i can only see the one side. asked them to send the other and they aint got back to me. probably battered lol. yeah my brother had a saxo that was 180 summit bhp. i think he got fed up with spendin on it lol.

Thanks for the welcomes yeah i think im goin to try and aim for the SR i have about 2000 to spend yeah i want rid. all im gettin is grief with the bloody pug. revvin on its own and cuts out when it feels like it. im only a student so i want something thats alot more reliable

before the 106 i had a vw lupo which was blowing blue smoke out the exhaust lol i was told it was a 600 qwid jobby so i got rid. now im not having much luck with the 106!

haha im always in stafford. i go college there. not far no. yeah well i thought it would be a good idea to join the starlet owners site. i know you can pick up cheap parts lol ive heard the starlets are pretty reliable too. the cars ive had so far haven't been too good for reliability lol are they good on fuel? i only have a 1.1 106.. i cant imagine there would be much difference lol.

thanks for that yeah i know someone who has a starlet and it is a nice lookin car. i seee yeah i thought it would be something like that. so the SR is the one to look out for i guess

Heey People. i currently own a peugeot 106 and im fed up of it lol. im looking to buy a starlet 1.3. however i would like to find out abit more about them. first of all.. what is the difference between a sportif and an SR? i went on Parkers and they are bout 74bhp? could somebody help me out? thanks katy
