    Coilies are great at what they do on good roads. With the right spring rates they can be as comfy as standard shocks or as hard as nails depending which you choose.

    HKS SSQV is chirpy on a standardish engine,granted. But mine sounds very different with a bar of boost being vented and combined with a lot of turbo stall it sounds awesome!

    You numpty! There should be a touch pad for the imobiliser somewhere handy. next time you round a screw off drill it out carefully,you wont need to get a new fob immediately.

    I thought it was heat reflective tape,which is totally pointless on a top mount due to the fact it blocks airflow basically buggering the whole point in having the COOLER there . The reason i ask is i found it odd as it wasn't obvious!

    Window seal possibly. Is it only when washed? could be heater matrix if not.

    It's been on since 15th july and getting worse I took the car down for them to see but needed the tubby off to tell for sure. It's off now any way so i'll get it down to be looked at this week.

    10w-40 semi is what i use.Keeping the oil in good nick by regular changes is more important than the make i reckon.Halfords oil is not too hard on the pocket for regular changes.

    Oh piss! The actuator was set at a bar,can't say i noticed how much it was reading on the gauge but it didn't go shooting off the scale as far as i know. The pipe is singed through enough to leak so thats whats happened there then. Time for another new rebuild kit and ask the rebuild guys to build it again then! Cheers jay.

    Not long had my freshly built hybrid turbo back on the car and it was smoking like mad after a few days. Took it all off again the other day and the actuator hose has been burned through by the heat from the mani,i reckon thats whats buggered it! Any idea what it'll have done,ie overboosted and knackered the seals?

    It's a piece of piss! been on it quite a few times,theres always a numpty who can't use it tho! It's only 7 roundabouts round a central island,people treat the island as a roundabout and that buggers it all up!

    I doubt i'll be paying for the "privilige" of posting! I can understand the costs must be big but if you set something up like an owners forum then you know the deal on running it. To sell stuff i wouldn't mind a charge eg: 1 euro per item for 30 days but just to post is daft!
