When i try and log into TGTT i quite often cant because it keeps saying my password is wrong!

Right first of all lets see the article,because i'm very sceptical that cutting a standard set of springs on a starlet or any car will be safe and an MOT pass! IF i am wrong i will happily apologise! I don't doubt he knows his stuff,but i really hate people doing mods that potentionally make their car unsafe! Simon may be an expert at cutting springs but that dosn't mean everyone is.

Well they aint constant from the springs i've seen,so that would make it bloody stupid! £250 is more than enough to allow a proper set of shocks and springs so there is no reason to go suggesting someone who probably has no knowledge of bodging lowering his car to cut his springs! Hence why you were called a prat.

What a great idea.........lets go chopping the springs up! Shut the hell up you PRAT! Do it cheap do it twice! If the serviceing etc is sorted out then handling and brakes before anything really. Decent suspension will transform the car and add speed through being able to use the car properly through corners.

I would've thought the pipes from the actuator ain't on properly,but thats irrelevant now because you've probably damaged something running 1.5 bar!

Think the point is they didn't put the money into the cars,someone else did then they nicked the parts! Cant stand honda's,drove a 2001 type R and thought it was shite! Totally flat till it hit 6k then it went,can't see the point in a road car! Track car fair do's tho. VETEC= virtually torqueless economy car Give me a turbo anyday! ;)

The same thing will happen on a damp cattle grid shelly,it's just oil/diesel on the road as said above.The tyres lose contact with the road so take less pressure on the pedal to make it lock up. Stop panicking and get driving!

As i'm sure many of you will have heard colin mcrae and his son have been killed in a helicopter accident near his home in scotland. The man was an absolute legend behind the wheel of any rally car he drove! I've seen him drive a few times in WRC stages in wales and he was feckin nuts. My thoughts are with his family. May he rest in peace.

Wheels and couple of engine mods were different,not running that much power.Didn't trust the engine not to have a fit!
