Yeah that works if nothings coming the other way! Like a lorry! If you tried that in this flood you would've killed your car very quickly! This started at 6" and at deepest went to not far off 2 foot! Bow wave that an you got a flooded engine for sure, scoop on the bonnet also scoops water in if you get a nice wave over you, trick is to dip the clutch a bit and keep the revs up to stop the water goin back up the exhaust! The back of the car lifted there was so much waterflowing down the road!

think jay did it and saw a bigger gain in psi with a proper decat than just a gutted standard cat.the standard gutted cat saw 1/2psi increase but the true decat saw 3-4psi i think.Gutting the cat would be of benefit though not as much as a true decat.

It goes from the turbo down, can be diy if you got the right tools and patience.it's only 7 or 8 bolts i think.

Should be straight forward mate, pop the rubber boot off the back of the headlight, undo the clip holding the bulb in place pop bulb out.It may be a bit fiddly but stick with it,then do in reverse to refit the new bulbs.Easy, dont touch the lense of the bulb with bare hands though,if you do clean it with a dry cloth.

Was gonna take it to a metal working yard and see if they could do it,the lump is part of the bolt for attaching it to the turbo i think.I've had a closer look and it's cracked on the inside so just gonna bin it i think!

Well... went to pick up some stuff from scutcho today and i'm lucky to still have a drivable starlet!! Before i even left my village i had a kid on a moped with a death wish pull out in front of me(i'm gonna get a moped as a bonnet ornament soon) Then had a tit in a rush come down the right hand side of me,wrong side of the road, at a roundabout dunno how he didn't get hit! Then hit the backroads havin a bit of fun, as you do, had a couple of near misses with standing water big puddles! But that was nothin, came round a corner and the road was flooded! Oh poo! Followed an old dear through

It dosn't! Take the rubber bit off,you either gotta drill holes in the pedal to attach the new ones or slide the new ones over and screw the allen nuts tight. I've got the ones with allen bolts in them and they are a ballache to have on the pedals to be honest!
