  4. i have a sr and i think its very thirsty!! if im driving every day £50 a week at the least. usually £20 a week. it might be worth pointing out i have a catback (2.5 inch pipe to 4 inch backbox LOUD!!) and.... i drive very hard lol ;) so let me know guys what you go through a week really interested in gt's rates as im gona get one

  7. kevink - yea i know what your saying and its good advice. i just wana keep 100% of what im saving to buy AND mod a gt with. i like the sr the way it is now. im gona save for a gt and mods. and save for insurance!! im gona stop modding the sr, so i save money and keep it standard for selling value. good advice kevink now i know what i wana do!! thanks mizlopi - im gona just get a gt. i dont really like glanza,s. i like them but dont wana get one the gt is the daddy!!
  8. so kevin i should keep all my sr parts and use the car modded and when the time comes for her to be sold, put all the stock stuff back on? need advice on this guys

  10. all if done to it is catback 4 inch exhaust(loud lol) air filter paint rocker cover,manifold cover,battery bracket and few clips, and a breather filter, so its still standard so it should sell ok what you think?
  11. i think ive just had some divine intervention!!! thers no point wasting money on my sr, i shud just save for a gt or glanza and do it up, besides i needa save for insurance i think keeping the sr standard will help sell it two maybe. but thats the end of mods and all just services,brakes,tyres,PETROL just what has to be got will be got. no modding. O and i forgot to mention its a thirsty wee bugger!!!!! so do you think im doing the right thing guys????
  12. glanzas are struggling to get £3000. a real minter went near me perfect. low miles moded up. £1800!!!!!!!!!! and it doesnt seem to matter if they are standard or moded . great time to buy bad time to sell. just keep them and do them up!!

  14. so to make it fit all you needa do is just tap a hole and make a mounting bracket? too good to be true!!
  15. just drill and tap a hole for the earth clip? it could be hard to get off its at the back of the engine. is the induction kit/cold air feed just a stright bolt on too?
  16. its a inlet manifold paul. its supposed to be a great mod. more acceleration more induction kit sucking noise more exhaust noise i want one now myself.!!! but is it just s straight bolt on fit guys? does it need to be tapped and drilled? or is a all the connection points all ready on it? suppose its just air so dont needa worry about leaks lol??

  23. me 2. im keeping her stanard so it will sell well and not make a big loss by doing it up. saving for a real car lol no point doing it up a sr will always be a sr just buy the big boy!!!
