yea maybe so but not all of us can afford to insure and run glanza's or n/a conversions for one reason or another so i think there will be a lot of interest in the n/a tuning part geo!!!

im 99% sure its the alternator still does it when reving with just the cable and in or out of gear!! going to whip the belt of later just to isolate it to confirm its the alternator!!

started today on my way to work. It speeds up and slows down with the speed of the engine. It sounds as if its coming from the alternator. Anyone had anything like this before? Or is it time door a new one! Rob

Right then boys and girls im starting to get my arse in gear again as JAE 2010 is getting ever closer!! These are the confirmed dates For JAE 2010 10-12 september 2010 so there is no excuses to get his boked off work nice and early!! As last year it will be held at Wicksteed park in Kettering. the show will open on the friday till sunday afternoon. I will keep updating the thread as more information is released throughout the year!! for those that are interested in being on the club stand please ad your name to the list!! I hope this give everyone enough advance warning!! Those who went last year im sure will remebr the venue and things on offer but for those who didnt. good to see this section getting some use ive been doing alot of reading in to detailing after talking to bill and rick at JAE!! i currently use AG shampoo and cond AG SRP AG Bumper care AG egp Megs paint cleaner Megs polish Megs wax Megs QD Megs Clay bar astonish wheel ceaner and a few other bits and bobs!! i have been looking at the kestral DAS6! and will be investing in some poorboys and dodo stuff in the near future but the list is growing

clean your car have got the DAS 6 for £59.95 which looks like a decent piece of kit!! i think they do a kit for about £100 too!!

yes the obx one will fit the only difference in is that the 5e block is 10mm taller than the 4e your current exhaust would later need modding to match up! And the lambda sensor may need lengthening!

Just a small update, i recieved a package through the post the other day with some new goodies so i think its time to get this moving again as gthe project has slowed since buying the appartment!!! Anyway a few piccies!! picked these up of ebay brand new still in the original packing for a grand sum of £23!! other jobs on the list:- finish the refurb on the rays, finish the 4-2-1 manifold, fit rear beam (when ive got it off nath) as well as the ZEP braidedlines and new front calipers and Project MU pads, and get the car ready for its mot and a few other jobs in the pipeline!!! from what ive heard they stop the lights dimming when using other electrics as the flow of current is greatly improved if so worth the few quid to DIY it!! in my opinion
