generally if the wheels move independently very easily then there is no lsd. a standard diff allows one wheel to rotate faster than the other unlimited so the outside wheel on a corner can cover more ground, a limted slip diff allows this also but at a certain force i.e when one wheel spinning like f**k on ice and the other on dry ground it will limit the amount the wheel on ice rotates faster than the other giving you more grip... if that makes sense

jack one side of the car up and try to spin the wheel when the car is not in gear.. if you cant spin it then u have a lsd ....if u can then you havent.

watch this, 4efte is gonna have similar percentage increase as the scooby i reckon.. been a turbo n that lol where as n/a starlet is gonna be like the clio... very little / no bhp increase although as it has been said the engine may run better i suppose.

that might be power steering belt slipping

just found out 6000k should be max for white light anything above that is violet light and is apparently very dangerous

no i believe the higher the light rating the whiter the light and if you go down to like 6000k / 8000k its blueish then lower its starts getting more yellow

the higher the light rating the purer the light i.e white light

sent him an email and he said although the belt is marked air con belt its actually a alternator belt

i ordered a water pump / alternator belt from tm-developments and they have sent me an air con belt.are these two belts the same size / spec or have they simpley sent me the wrong one. im gonna ring them and find out but im at work at minute.

just wondering about everyones 'technique' (if there ever were one) of warming up their 4efte's is it better to let the engine idle for a while (and how long for) or drive the car trying not to boost until temp gauge is at correct postion or a bit of both i.e let it idle for a few minutes then drive without boost until correct operating temperature is reached. thanks ladies nd gents carl p.s/ ive heard leaving your car to idle when cold is not very good for the engine but on the other hand i cant imagine driving an aspriated car when cold isnt much good either... so to me it must be

the low boost mode is actually for economical driving tbh, its the 1st and 2nd gear restriction in hi boost mode that was meant for safety or as you put it safety during wintery, low grip times

does anyone know a way of having full boost in all gears aswell as been able to use low boost mode when you want it. as far as i know an actuator is needed to do this but i may be wrong so i might aswell ask
