  1. what did you use to get that pipe off mate ive got clip off but pipe seems to be stuck
  2. so will the cold side of the turbo twist round if i remove oil feed, return & water lines. i tried taking turbo off after f**king around trying to get to that mani/block nut for hours and hours & i just ended up being able to loosen two front nuts on turbo/mani flanges and righthand rear nut was really tight & started rounding it off so gave up on it.
  3. remove the whole bracket? ive just removed the two screws holding cat yeah i was going to do this but it seems like alot of work if you can simply push the turbo down abit
  4. right... attempted to change standard manifold to uprated one today... my car is currently in bits because i cant get the bottom left manifold nut off !! there is not enough space to get to the nut using any tool i have. on the guide from ep wiki it says to put the standard tmic pipe back on and push the turbo housing downwards. how? the turbo wont move as its bolted to the manifold. can anyone enlighten me on this? short detailed guide to that part only please also will it be that i havent removed oil feed and return as well as the water pipes yet. i havent done these yet simply because i

  7. ive got a uprated mani im wanting to fit is there any guides on here for doing this or will i just have to figure it out myself. ive searched and searched but cant find any thanks in advance p.s/ will i be able to use the same studs and nuts etc that is on standard mani or will i have to get some new ones?

  10. Not at moment, just want to get cat gutted and fit mani then see if that will satisfy me for a while. and yeah.. second time i saw you on wentworth road your car looked reallllllyyy nice coming round that corner. front mount caught my eye straight away.
  11. ohh by the way was gonna ask this in the main thread part but forgot. will gutting my cat give me the same gains as a decat pipe? or will the difference of area distrupt the velocity and flow more than a straight pipe would? also would gutting the cat cause the sensors to go mad and put any lights on my dash? anyone? thanks carl

  15. mine had a daft hks evolution sticker on wind screen when i bought it. removed it in like 0.3 seconds when i got home lol

  19. true enjoyed driving my first v home more though because i had a 1.2 before it. wasnt much of a change of power going from driving a 1.8 to driving my new one home gave it some stick non the less
