still debating weather to paint the toyota black to make it stand out?

I painted the rocker cover again a few weeks ago, for everyone who knows how much trouble i had last time i done it i can gladly say it went without a hitch i went to halfords to buy some brake caliper paint and wen i got it home i read the instructions and it said it could be used on the engine, so thats waht i did. I think it deffo looks better. before after

yes i know they add a bit on but my cousin has used them before and had no trouble with them so i thought i would try the safe option first. i have the passwords for the uss auctions and have been looking on them for a while beforehand. I am starting to think about letting someone prep it for me, the more i look into it the more of a balls ache it seems to be.

I got it from autoadvan, will deffo check on the insurance and i have found a company called crawford cars who have the model report for the ek9, fuck knows how much they will charge to rent it though. some model reports only cost £50 and some companys want £500!!

just been looking on my insurance company's website and they only have the 2ltr type-r down but they do have a 1.6 vtec r import i wonder if that is it because if it is it will be £1040 to insure fully comp

that is the debate mate, if i can insure it and it is not silly money i may just do that and sell the gt. I have wanted one of these for years now.

Woul have to agree with everyone spend the money and get a road angel, i bought i cheap one a few years ago and all it picked up was traffic lights. It may be a bit extra but how much is your licence worth? just looked at the thread for ebay and it was a cobra one i had. I think they are american imports.

Is that not just a map light inside? i had a cup holder stuck to the dash, a dvd sat nav system with 7" screen and under the bonnet i had an electronic rust preventor. Cut that of by accident lol thought it was to do with the sat nav system. I have never seen so many wires in my life for one thing took 3hrs to remove the lot. Shame about your car hope you get it fixed soon.

would it not work out cheaper to buy a small air compressor and a sandblasting gun? you can pick the compressors up for £50 £15 per wheel aint bad if you think how long in man hours it will take to sand by hand.You are just being greedy with the speedlines now lol

Can you not get them sand blasted? would save a lot of time.
