yes i picked the wrong time of year to get white wheels lol, well happy with them though, when i picked them up i thought they looked a little bit like compomotive mo's.Anyone else think that?
-
Cheers mate, they will look better when i can get the centre caps on

Yes i could notice a difference, you want to feel the weight of the compressor with its mounting bracket. Plus it is not putting as much strain on your engine. After some light weight pulleys from fensport when i can afford them. -
I couldn't believe how light they are!

Finally got rid of the standard alloys just a quick pic with them on, looks like a rally car the hight of the suspention! know what i am getting out of my birthday money at the end of the month, some lowering springs. will get some better pics in the daylight. Also a quick question, the centre caps don't fit because of the driveshafts sticking out on the front. He said come back sometime next week and he will trim them for me, is this a good idea or will spacer be better?

i got £80 for the wheels but i only paid £125 for the wheels plus tyres, so £45 for 4x tyres aint bad. Fair enough they are only nankans but they will do for now.
-
Yeah is that £350 just for the rims? then you have the postage, tyres locking wheel nuts fitting kit and fitting and balancing of the wheels to go on top of that, i also got flush fit valves with them.
-
will be nice to get of the shitty standard alloys and have a bit of grip.
-
top gear in gateshead
-
well all in all i managed to get them for £425 with tyres! because i part exed the ones i bought from halfords which were the wrong stud pattern.
-
Well i have just been and orederd the alloys, white 15" rota slipstreams hopefully they should be here no later than thursday so will get some pics posted up then.

Think it is illegal to vent the gas, but don't know where you would go to get it removed. I know what you mean about the credit card but i am trading them wheels that i bought for them so i don't think it will be that much. Plus if i pay off how much i was going to save each week it will work out the same. i was torn between them and the innovite ones, but you can only get the innovite in 16's. -

I know, i held my breath removed the valve and ran lol. it took ages to all go. -
Well i thought with the weather being nice today i would finally remove the aircon. It was quite easy apart from nearly choking on the aircon gas lol. All in all it took about 2 hours, but that was because of a couple of welded on bolts. Anyway i was quite suprised the difference it made once removed and there is plenty of room for a fmic when i can afford one. I have decided to bite the bullet and buy some alloys on my credit card ;) didn't really want to do that but can't wait to save up the money.
-
No i can't take them back, because of the price. when i went to a different halfords for the spiggot rings they told me they were a peugeot/ citroen fit. so if anyone knows sum one with either cars and is looking for some cheap alloys let them know.
-
that is still a good price.

Would an et 35 offset be ok for the starlet? i also i know i should post this in the for sale section but just want to gauge interest if anyone knows someone who is after some 15" wolfrace alloys with an et 38 offset and a 4x108 stud diameter. i paid £250 from halfords thinking i could get spiggot rings to fit not realising the 4x108 is the stud diameter. all i am wanting is my money back cheers jon

If i knew he would post them i would have ripped his hands off, i asked him if he had a buy it now price and he said make me an offer. i was going to offer £100 and then go and pick them up, but i thought about how much it would cost in petrol.
-
Nice one mate, how you going to get them? i didn't fancy about a 10 hour round trip pitty they were so far away i really like the speedline wheels.
-
Yes shelly that was a hks induction kit, i changed to the apexi one after reading the reviews on the filters. I have noticed a big difference with the apexi one on, when i accelerate the car is not lumpy anymore where it was with the hks one. Wish i had found that review first lol. The horn is wired in but i think there is a dodgy connection as it is not working at the minute. Its not bad for £55 though just about brand new aswell, don't you just love ebay? also i don't know if you have seen the speedline alloys off an sr on there? i was going to get them but they are in chelmsford jus

Well as some of you know about the fanny on i had painting my rocker cover, here are a couple of pics before and after. I also got a new steering wheel aswell. I know the steering wheel is not pure JDM but i think it looks ok. I am going to paint the rocker cover again to match the hoses, but this time i am not going to touch the pcv valve lol
