the recaros are the same as the ignis sport with the mesh on the headrest
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Thats y they seemed so familiar
Concerning epc i thought so but i wanted a second opinion because in the MOMO steering wheel they write MOMO in the sears they didnt mention recaro (at least in my edition) although my point and the firm.
And thanks for the answers also...

I want to upgrade my seats with buckets and among the usual (new aftermarket buckets) i am searching for used ones. I have heard of transplants from rx7 (does anyone know how much the recaro oem by toyota cost or their part numbers if they are in the epc cause there are some buckets but doesnt say if are the recaros). So does anyone knows from what cars can i search and if the fitting is direct or i should made custom brackets etc. And finally i was thinking to look from suzuki ignis sport edition has anyone heard of something similar?

the part number is: 53607-10010
and the pnc number (if needed) 53607A
However, i believe tha cost of a new genuine toyota strut will be very close to a new aftermarket solution...

I think many stuff can be made concernign air induction. According to my opinion (and hopefully ill try it in one-two months time) an efficient solution would be: Fisrts relocate battery back. Second (and here might need some fixing at least and the right) use one or two airducts (some custom brackets and mountinh will be needed) to pump air from the foglights (of course remove them) via hosing (any type but i think the size needs some experiments). Then make a new a new airbox (a bit like a scoop) in the place of the old battery (like weeJohn describes) where the two (or one pipes ends) and if someone wants the original airbox and inlet he just adds the pipes. But i think the cost will be high and the result questionable theoretically it should work better.
PS of course the cars look would get worse but there is also a solution since the opening for the foglights is quite big and a pipe would seem a bit awfull you can use a metal grille in order both to upgrade the look and prevent birds flies etc from aintering to your induction.

yes i like all this talk of handling but has any one on the site done all these things to the car allready & does it make a big diffrence
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
According to my opinion the most important in a discussion like this ain`t if anyone has all the modifications (cause i think most of them are more or less helpful) but if there is a difference among similar products (for example apart from look and weight? which is the point on replacing a strut brace aluminum or even steel with a carbon when with the same money you get a lower arm+strut). Furthermore, when it comes to factors like body rigidity where there isn`t a very precise way of measuring it and even if you get, lets say, a feeling of a more tight and solid chassis i really dont think you can really feel the difference (except if you smash you car ) cause most of the times there is only a subtle change in absolute values for example g forces. Generally, speaking for some parts even if we don`t trust 100% other peoples opinions we can simply follow our logic and physics most of the times.

Miracle`s cross bar is really a good choice (i can`t see the pics am i the only however i have seen the bar in a jap auction) but for someone wanting something let`s say more practical i think toyota`s three point rear strut brace or zep-rm`s (i dont know if they ship to Europe i tried to contact but they haven`t replied) three point again rear brace (in reality a a simple rear strut brace and two additional bars) and for that extra rigidy back and high a pillar bar above the seats would probably be equivalent to miracles cross bar and more or less about the some money. ideally a cross triangular brace pillar combination would be perfect but then we tend to a roll cage solution.

Does anyone know if the fittings of the original starlet`s front bumper are the same with glanza? If no (which i think they are different) does anyone know their part number? thanks a lot

Now that we are talking about lower arm bars, have you heard of tanabe`s bar you shapped (or something like that a dealer here described it like that). If its like cusco`s lower arm bar type 2 which is not available for starlet i think it wil be perfect but i haven`t seen anyone to have it

I would like to ask what`s your opinion concerning cuscos type os vs whiteline`s strut brace (front strut braces). Both are alloy but whiteline`s is adjustable also. Which one do you believe its better and will be any difference?

If you are really interested in you can buy almost any part in the Japan market if you know serial number OR it can be found on a site via takakaira`s special enquiries form with an extra fee about 2500jen`s (this was the fee they told my to buy something from zep and transport it to their warehouse and to me). so head`s up
