which wire was it that was loose mate?

maybe have noticed that the lights have started to go dimmer when the revs drop. might have a look at that

somone on tgtt had the same problem and turned out to be map sensor, anyone got a pic on which sensor it is?lol.

im never going to sell the car as a whole as id get peanuts for it, so if i carnt fix it i aint paying some1 to do it to then break it. so if no one knows what it is then im just guna have to break it alot earlier than planned. ;)

i have had it just over 4 years now, i just think its getting to that stage of its life.

i know mate but ever since ive got it back on the road its done nothing but go wrong on me and about at the end of my teather! so close to getting this td04 on and every time im about to do it fucks up agen. ;)

yet another problem with the car, past few days the cars been getting quite jerky to drive, and then today on the way home from work the car keeps losing all power, the engine just goes to idle and the throttle pedal does nothing. then all off a sudden its back to normal, then 2 secs down the road it does it agian, its at any speed, doing it on the duel carriage way at 30, 20 ect . . . got home and took the spark plugs out and cleanded them and noticed that 1 had quite abit of oil on it but even after cleaning them it made no difference. sad to say it but ive about had enough of this car now

and if your worried about people trying to race you then buy a shity old car then they wont bother.

yea but the point of this car would be to drive around in it and earn ncb while you spend your cash on the gt not spend massive amounts on your run around car, i drive an r reg 1.7td astra during the week and most of the weekend. . . . and dont giv a rats arse!lol

plus them corsas will be about 2k?? and when you sellit in a year or so when can insure the starlet you defo wont get 2k for it, where as if you buy a 500quid n/a and look after it youl still b able to sell if for 500 in a year or so as they aint gona go down much more.

then dont rise to it and drive on as normal, anyone that trys to race me just ends up wasting there fuel as i carnt be arsed wasting mine on a stupid CORSA!!

the reason i wont use elephant, admiral ect is when you declare all your mods they charge you more BUT if you crash you dont get the parts replaced. i remember reading in a car mag a few years ago a guy had a celica with coileys, alloys and a few other bits. anyways he stuffed it on the front drivers side corner and the insurance company repaired the car with standard parts even though the parts were declared. so the guy got his car back with one corner completly standard! so if your cars not standard pay a little bit extra and go to a like for like insurance company!

but honestly how hard is it to get home to sell a car? when i spoke to him about 6week ago he was desperate to sell it so would of thought he could of got home to sell it. dont like to dampen your spirit mate but he aint making it look like its a good car.

looks like a clean motor, have you posted it on any vauxhall forums or even put it in the for sale section of total vauxhall magazine?

more info on the car your trying to sell and how youve tryd selling it would be good then we could try advise/help u sell it.
