yeah mate.
-
will do mate, plugs seem to be ok, i've put the old fuel pressure regulator on and it pulls fine now, main issue now is the fact that white smoke is prouing out of it i think it's turbo related
-
Checked FPR? line on the right way ect.
-
no, i think a sensor is broke so it constantly thinks it hot but no idea where. it will just be easier for me to wire a switch up.
-
is it safe to run with out a fan then lol. for some reason mine is constantly on. need to wire a switch up.
-
first test drive in the glanza today, first thing that i noticed it that it isn't revving freely. struggles though the whole rev range on and off boost, currenty running .5 bar and have the FPR set to 45 PSI
I've checked for boost leaks so it isn't seem to be that but i will 100 percent confirm this with a boost leak test.
Turbo is a speedvision ct9 hybrid.
any thoughts guys? -
okay, i'll they that. still using the OE rad ATM so i'm in no rush to do so. what fan set ups are you guys using?
-
Both to be honest mate, the half rad hits the oe rad mounts which mates the half rad sit too high.
-
Id workz sells them, yellow stuff IRC
-
yet here its fine -
yeah, thats the one. no idea where the bottom one really goes either lol. that civic mount looks pretty good but i'll end up making something over the weekend i reckon. might be able to drive the car for the first time this weekend
-
Mounts are EP91, but it shouldn't make a difference. they're both the same
-
Done a bit of searching on this but can't find an answer.
I have a toyosport civic half rad and mounting kit, and it doesn't seem to fit.
anyone else had this problem? most people seem to make there own mounts and it's completely different to what i have,

what i see on most cars with half rad -
I love the look of them Dan! Need to figure out what all the stages are aswell, seems to be the thing when I look at them, stage 1 2 3, definitely want to look into it more but I'm pretty much definitely buying one lol. I know for the money I'm going to be spending it's not going to be a minter anyway, and it will have its arse out at most road ends aswell. One thing I liked about then was the engine, there seems to be heaps with 350+bhp on standard internals, so you don't have to spend an absolute fortune to get decent power. I am looking at all the pros of them, need to look into the cons too haha
great, another hero. i give it 2 months before you stack it. you don't instantly become DK if you own a RWD car like everyone things. p.s breaking traction around a corner doesn't count as drifting.
-
also, mine has around 300bhp, td04 starlet on 1bar would probs keep up with it.
-
on my second one now, great if you use it for drifting. not great for everything else. for a b road blaster it's not too bad but you always have the 'it's going to kill me' though in the back of your head. Glanza was much more fun as a road car tbh.
My first one was rusty as fuck, sensed one is pretty solid. needs a few bits doing. they're fucking expensive for what they are but everyone and there wife wants one to look cool

I've got the hose mate, just need the metal bracket adapter bit. cheers anyway though. Fordie, PM on it's way
-
As above, in good working order. Needed ASAP
-
anyone got these yet and tried fitting them?
-
I know I'll struggle, my girlfirend has come will woods say around for a mk1 cilo, they look the same as the starlet brackets tbh. They just need modding. Thanks for the input guys. What's the deal with the brakes lines, are they to suit the model of cars or do you need adapters for will woods
-
Anyone know where i can get replacement parts for willwoods? I'm after the adapter bracket for the starlet and possibly a photo of what it looks like
Cheers, Dan. -
as above, good working condition. probs best to PM me

turns out it was the ignition timing, going to set it up properly over the next few days.
