  1. oh i know its too high especially when the limit is 3.50 just trying to narrow it down its either one of the following: rich mixture faulty thermostat or coolant temp sensor ( checked stat before putting it in it was , and fan is coming on so no probs there....... though does take a bit to kick in but still it comes on) injector misfire or cat or combination of rich mixture and vac leak. thats from notes from college when we were doing emissions last year and those are of high co readings.
  2. i enquired about that before g shhh lol starbogt spec is as follows 74.5mm wiseco pistons scat rods acl racing main and big end bearings fse (rrfpr) walbro 255lph fuel pump cruise 1.2mm metal headgasket cruise valve springs exedy cerametallic paddle clutch tongs ct9 hybrid autobahn mani with ext gate fabbed on top HDI ebc fmic oem injectors got an emanage blue and 330cc injectors to go in once engine is broken in and then will be mapped. but yes its a fuelling probs so either rrfpr needs to be turned down but its been at the same since i bought the car in 06 and not failed and got that
  3. the GT went for its m.o.t today failed on a couple of things i'll sort tomorrow though it did fail on emissions ????? its a 92 so should come under the category pre cat test am i right as i believe it goes that there is no uk equivalent to base emissions and therefore cannot be failed on emissions correct or have they now changed this ??? it failed on co readings got a reading of 6.38% where legal limit is 3.50% i'm putting it down to an injector leaking anyone else have any ideas ?
  4. exactly you get diff rated springs from ebay to open at set lowest pressure you want then use the ebc to control boost above that.
  5. You can go bush mechanic like i've done with mine , i have an autobahn mani ( i can hear you all going lol) and my ext gate fabricated to the top with a screamer coming off that, will get pics to show you later (and before anyone starts its a temporary setup until i get more cash flowing but it will work and do its job in the meantime, probs need to reweld the mani after a few months but the things you need to do lol) but with regards to a screamer on an internally gated ct9 it will be the same as an ext gate the actuator will only open at the set boost pressure to release excess boost pr
  6. Does anyoneone know what the vacuum depression should be sitting at in the inlet mani of a gt when at idle ?
  7. very tempting, but realistically cause of the gt i couldn't even afford a dj in a box set of numarks lol. i'm selling off my synths so i can buy a laptop for uni thats how bad it is at the mo.
  8. being a swedish build i knew a volvo was involved somewhere but gonna check the link out as that looks like it would be a beast .
  9. they look good , always liked the 1000's but i'm more into production but wouldn't mind getting into mixing and always wanted the cdj 1000's so hope they come down in price now .
  10. Well done mikey, same here i have my induction day for uni on monday then same as sparky start on the 28th looking forward to it. i have to sit my higher maths though for my uni course and wow thats tough i'm really shit at maths as i wasn't a model pupil in school and didn't bother to listen when i was there. (and i don't say that with pride at all)
  11. There is a severe lack of pics sort it out guys lol
  12. much did you get the oem rear spats for ? much are they from toyota ? doe anyone know the part number ?
  13. some gabber Mainframe ft Whiplash - New World Disorder (Distorted Revelations Remix) ;)
  14. pm'd mate ;) jon-boi and randomhero same as myself love the harderstyles don't like nu-style cheese hardcore, oldskool is good some of it is cheese but it wasn't back in the day and thats acceptable . theres a thread for hardstyle & gabber in the music section and an oldskool thread so get posting away there, lets hear what yous are listening to .
  15. My hobbies is cars obviously huge passion for me others include my synths and making Hard dance music (not been doing it in a while due to being busy but choking to get back into it). i have 3 synths a Yamaha an1x (outstanding board), a Roland sh201, a Roland Eg101 and i also have a Korg pa60 (rare as for some reason stopped making the pa60 now only pa50) which is a 16 track sequencer keyboard and i also have a Roland dr 202 drum machine all for sale except the an1x as i want to get more into computer sequencing.
  16. i'm guessing you already had aftermarket management that you had mapped before your rebuild ?
  17. P.m.sl oh well as i said better late than never lol.
  18. Cheers lads appreciated so just to recap its ok to rev it as long as the engine aint under load and can boost it (lightly) as long as fuelling is sorted i.e i put standard injectors back in and make sure fpr is set at standard ?
  19. Happy Birthday Zoe its 10 mins late but better late than never
  20. rev it to 5k you sure and how would i do it with no boost remove intercooler pipe at throttle body ?
  21. would just be easier to buy a gauge and turn it down to standard pressure if that aint at standard ?
  22. kl will put standard injectors back in in the mean time then cheers i don't know mate the car came with the fpr in it and i never touched anything before putting it off road but my suspicions are that it was running a little rich not excessively though as it ran beautifully and i had it on an exhaust gas analyzer and was running fine or that could be as you said the standard injectors were causing it to be running rich anyway. everybody knows stoichio is 14.75:1 but i've read that most tuners tune for 12-13:1 thats rich ? but i'm guessing that is ok on broken in engines ?
  23. will it run slightly lean on standard injectors due to bigger capacity, as would rather slightly rich as to lean ? aint touched the fpr since it went off road i don't have a gauge so guessing its next to standard pressure due to it running on standard injectors before
  24. Another Breaking in thread lol Though this one is different as i know the usual break in procedures such as keep it below 3000 revs and not above 60 for 1000 miles plus in that time do a lot of engine breaking rather than using the brake pedal to bed the rings in for when it comes time for mapping. i'm running (will keep it short just fuelling mods) wiseco forged pistons and scat rods walbro 255lph fuel pump and 330cc injectors, rrfpr on standard ecu (for the time being) i have a emanage blue here but will fit that once the 1000 miles is up and go to get it mapped. but this is my q, fuelli
