  1. Hey guys,

Just wondered if anyone knows RYPIE. He's sent me a payment for a FCD via paypal this morning but there is no postage address linked to his account on paypal. If anyone has his number or knows his address will they pm it me please or get in contact with him to let him know the problem. I've sent him a pm but i think he said he was working mornings and i want to send asap.

    Cheers

  2. that thing pulls really well! like you say easy to mod aswell. just think about parking them tho :-S like parking the titanic, i think they would be great fun. my mate had one running 250ish reasonably standard (Burgundy :-S) that pulled well and was still good fun to drive, until the bottom end went! he says this is a common problem and warns me off them!

  3. 400 sounds abit steep. I've asked nick@td for a quote but I'm not sure where he's based? Would drive to get it done if was cheaper and recommended. I will probably use standard ecu until then. Would they charge for fitting the unit cus I could do that myself. I have access to a trailer if need be what you guys think?

  4. Yer I know what your saying mate and I will do but I need a safe setting so I can take it to be mapped, where did you take yours? Would you recommend them and how much? I know nick at td is now mapping these. Do u know of anywhere in the east midlands? Cheers

  5. does anyone know the settings for the base map, e.g. what bar boost to run etc. im guessing its a ct9 map thats stored on the pfc, has anyone had any dealings with using the power fc. i am waiting for mine to arrive so trying to get all the information i can. i have power fc, harness and commander on the way would like some help from someone who is running one of these on a ct9.

    thanks guys all help appreciated

  6. Just bought power fc on eBay got harness commander and map sensor. Is anyone running one of these on a ct9 and if so what settings etc are they using? Is it a massively complicated job if you have the correct settings or does everyone recommend taking to a proper mapper? I paid 610 for it I'm assuming this is a pretty good price for a good piece of kit? Is there any base settings I can use while I'm waiting for mapping and does anyone know of any good mappers in the midlands? Cheers

  7. Have you got and sort of ecu, FCD etc. If not could be that your running to much boost, i had that problem when setting up my car, if your nearing fuel cut the car sometimes bogs as its going up the revs and then boosts again abit. Try taking the actuator down a turn see what happens. May not be that but could just be something that simple???

  8. im sometimes down there on a sunday mate. Im reasonably new to the starlet scene. MFN is pretty wank really but like you say be nice to see few more starlets there instead of the usual chav astra's and crap. I think i've met Liam and had a quick chat with him before? i definately recognise the car! I have a black glanza with matt black buddy clubs on with red rim round, be good to get some ideas and bounce ideas off other people.

  9. id go for different wheels to the ones you have photoshopped mate. Stick to the retro ep70 style I reckon and go for something more subtle and JDM from the same era :-) Just my opinion obviously. I did have a link to rare JDM wheels but cant find it maybe someone on here can give you it theres loads on there so sure you will find some you like.

Love the project though mate, good to see someone taking time and effort to restore a classic motor. :-)

Keep postings updates looking forward to seeing the finished build.

  10. jeez im such a teease to you guys!

some of my mates were bmx'ing and skateboarding and decided to film my car coming on boost through my local town center haha.

only 4seconds long but it sounds rude so wat the heck :o

    :p

    Love it :-)

  11. you could butcher the standard 1s but you wont be able to adjust the seat. u need to take the slider out of them the weld a plate across the 2 and bolt your seat in. if your handy you could pre drill a few holes incase you want to adjust the seats at a later date

Seats are in and they slide. Butchered old rails and welded to evo rails and adjusted brackets to fit seats then metal painted where welds are! took two days labour (With help from my bro) but look loads better than standard seats and cheaper than buying zep rails :-) will post pic up when i get chance.

  12. Bought some evo 5 front seats off ebay. Anyone know the best way to fit them in a ep91? Is there any way i can butcher the standard rails to make them fit? A guide would be brilliant if anyone has one. Cheers

  13. Been thinking on puttin new front seats in the Glanza, just wondering what you guys have all got and if there are any fitment issues regarding seat fitment. I think im going to for seats from an evo 6/7 has anyone else put these into a glanza? Can some people put pics of there seats on here so i can have a look which i might fancy :-)

    Cheers
