well if you simply removed the wires off the old speakers and put them on the new ones then it should be ok. the spade connectors that were on mine were like all speaker one larger than the other so you cant get them round the wrong way. if yours aint like this then just try swapping them around incase it simply the wiring.... if it still happens then it sounds like you have a dodgy set of speakers

the bumper on my car dont have those grills at the top of the bumper anyways so no cutting need there, and the only prob with the grills underneath is the huge number plate housing will be a bitch to remove i agree get my bumper and make a new skirt tofit that and it will look the nuts
