As advised i have got myself a new OEM Toyota exhaust manifold gasket. Can anybody explain to me which way this needs to be put on, for example does the side with the dimples on it go towards the cylinder head or to the manifold side ? Thanks

cheers john, so the OEM gasket will be fine for the Toyosport manifold ? Also is the gasket from the decat to exhaust (triangle shaped one) something i could get from a local car parts place ?

Rite people, i have a few questions. Just removed my exhaust mani and had a small crack welded up, the mani is now back on the car and the car now sounds like a tractor( it sounds like its blowing from the bottom of the seal between the mani and cylinder head. TIME TO OWN UP I used the old gasket when putting the mani back on......is this the cause to my problem ??? Next point, the manifold is a toyosport one so do i need to order a certain gasket or will a Genuine Toyota gasket do teh job ?? And finally....What size are the 6 nuts holding the mani on ?? Hi all my upgraded exhaust mani has a slight crack on it, i am going to take it off and weld it for the moment, i am a noobie mechanic. When putting new gaskets on i.e Mani gasket and turbo to mani gasket do i put them on dry or do i use gasket sealant ?? Any help would be great

I know this is prob a really simple task but..... I currently have tein lowering springs on upgraded shocks (dont know what kind) anyway i want to raise the car up a bit by putting on spax 40mm lowering springs, can anybody explain in an idiots guide how to put the new springs in the shock ( i know how to get the shock etc off the car. Any help would be good ;)

Cheers for all the opinions lads, heres my problem tho. I live in the country, shit roads etc (potholes and rough, although most potholes avoidable at low speeds). My other problem (the main one) is that my girlfriends road to her house is a nightmare really rough and potholes that you could get lost in. Anyway i would like the car to be high enough so the exhaust dosnt scrape but want the car to handle well when driven slightly more vigorus than a normal driver (if you know what i mean) Cheers dudes

Rite guys, currently have the car on tein lowering springs but want to put on a decent set of coilys, thinking BC'S or D2's What else will i need for the car to sort the handling/steering ?? i.e anti roll bars, panhard rods etc etc

Black/Purple does sound a bit different, Quit elike Rota GT3's but dont thnk i can get the anodized rim in purple or can i ??? Any other ideas for Wheels etc ???
