as said above, sounds like a fuse, my corolla did this aswel, turned out to be a fuse from engine bay..

i understand the above, i mean i cant hear the screamer @ 0.8, n wastegate dont sound normal like it used to be.. once piping is all off i will inspect things, n get back on this thread.. & thanks for your time!

yh still running 0.8, bt no screamer sound, n diffrent sound from wastegate hmm its a tricky one, well anyway ive ordered some new hose couplers for intercooler piping, so will be removing piping anyway, so will get to hav a propa look at things whn removed pipes.

Hi guys! as my last thread i mentioned my car was parked up for a month & regularly start it bt neva moved in a month, other day i took it for a blast & noticed car has lost power & guage showing no boost at all.. mods are ct9 hybrid with screamer pipe, 0.8 bar, fmic. UPDATE Now: i have managed to find a split rubber pipe that connects to the FMIC piping so have changed this pipe & car boosts fine, BUT my external wastegate DOES NOT sound the same like before & screamer pipe dosent kick in?? waste gate sounds more of a ''echo'' noise, not like a big tsshhh (bit like a d-valve) anyone come across this before ??? asap Thanks!

SHAUN: u was rite i had boost leak, was a small split rubber pipe that bolts on the intercooler piping.. finally fot the car to boost again, because this morning it wasn't making any boost at all, until i removed a few bits to have a proper look.. **just 1 more question on this- now the wastegate is working BUT dosen't sound the same like before & im also sure the screamer pipe does'nt kick in ????

as above want to know how to remove front left hand side speaker?? looks like theres no way of it cuming out?? the right hand side is very easy as its under the fuses trim.. Thanks!

yeh ermm its not chattering either at all infact.. it whistles any 1 had the same problem before??

recently brought a thermostat from ''camskill'' but never got a gasket with it.. is it ok to fit the thermostat with old gasket or get a new 1 ??

i have never took the car over 0.8bar boost, wastegate normally kicks in @ 2krpm (normal driving 30-40pmh) defo something wrong thre.. ??

thre defo is something wrong from wastegate side, as said before took the car for a spin & wastegate normally makes a noise when im din bout 30mph while changn gear.. wastegate is like a ''dump V'' normally wastegate kicks in around 4krpm & thats parked in one place aswel..
