hi people just wondering what differences (if any) between a starlet n/a and a gt ep82 distributor??? or if anyone can tell me which ecu pin sends the live feed up the distributor on an ep82 ecu.... help needed asap many thanks guys steve.

yes mate that is helpful apparently gt loom is easier to patch in but if you use a glanza full loom and clocks may just be able to swap all wiring over complete mate as ep91 should be the same really i brought a gt complete paid a grand for it with rear end damage stripped it and put engine in my sportif yeah im looking at front mounts but ones on ebay all seem to big lol

toyotagtturbo.com mate look in the awfully helpful electrical section im almost done on my conversion its not as easy as first thought really but im using an ep82 loom etc im also using na shafts and box etc all should work ok....... you will also need a front mount kit as top mount inter cooler wont clear the bonnet like i say im halfway through this conversion too and found this out

hi people, i have converted my sportif to turbo changed engines over etc but im struggling with wiring... basically i am running the ep82 wiring loom for the engine and also the ecu i need to know how to patch in the ep82 engine loom to my sportif interior loom as i am really struggling..... can anyone help me??? thanks guys steve.

i have some wings that have already been done mate if your interested car had 17's on it so had plenty of room for them mate steve.

hi im wondering if an ep82 exhaust system will fit straight onto my ep91 or will i have to do some serious modifications?? its an sr with a fte conversion by the way??? just want to know to sort all parts before engine goes in...many thanks steve

Right lets start................a few weeks ago i went all the way to sunny Oldham to buy myself a car........not just any car tho i brought this..... i had already removed the bumper before picture was taken.....i paid £1000 for the cra was still driving and running had a few mods but nothing special i,e roll cage (full) rear strut brace bailey bov lowered all round 17inch tubeless and valveless wheels hks super dragger exhaust system type r wheel hks mushroom filter i thought this car would be a cheap and ideal donor car to convert my n/a......and as i love my n/a to pieces i thought this was the only way to go....so i started by removing the dash and wiring looms phase 1 phase 2 phase 3 all this took was lots of masking tape and about 2 hours from start to finish which i don't think was too bad......... up to yet i have removed this all the engine wiring loom and also anything connecting the engine or gearbox to the car in less than 5 hours...so all steam ahead from now to remove engine and gearbox updates will be coming

cool mate he just has it advertised as turbo seals going.......id presume blue smoke but may have to go have a butchers its only about 30 mile from mine lol cheers jamie

looking at buying a gt been advertised as smoking on boost am i right in thinking this is the turbo seals leaking? if so anyone know places to get a turbo re-conditioned?? thanks guys steve

it does kept walking past and even when your not looking at it the colour still catches your eye lol great stuff

was u handbraking it into the first turn taggy lol as there was some right broadside action going on haha but yeah mint track car went like stink!!
