the best thing to do would be to try the cheapest options first mate like taking out the spark plugs and leads etc to look for electrodes burning out or deterioration of the leads or the spark plugs which may be causing a low spark on one cylinder at leat these things are relatively cheap to try a diagnostic check could dtermine a fault and which cylinder its coming from but it all depends upon the engine management light coming on for the ecu to store a fault. keep me posted though as this is interesting matey.

if a spring has snapped would produce a knocking noise due to the metal clonking together dependant upon what rubber mounts are on the coilovers being that may have been the problem due to new rubber squeaking if you can imagine new rubber being tight and when metal and rubber twist together may have caused the squeaking noise. glad you sorted it though mate

If you cant hear the pump running could be one of two things either could be as said above the pump gauze has blocked up and full of gunge or the fuse could be blown and will not draw any water up i would first check the fuse for the washers and then if you still cant hear the pump running i would check for voltage down to the pump if there is power then the pump will be faulty few simple things first though mate as a pump may be quite expensive

this is a weird one that it keeps doing it maybe if the wheel bearing isnt quite right would cause slight movement in the driveshaft and could be pulling it out under turning out a junction and accellerating if you can imagine the wheel moving in and out this could pull out the driveshaft. or if the car has an accident could have caused suspension damage which alters the ways in which the driveshaft will move under hard accelleration and hard braking just a thought but a geometry check could determine suspension damage

yeah i think you need a certain amount of the reflective showing on the pate to get away with it providing you dont mess with the size of the lettering as bloke i work with cut his square plates down to the font on his glanza and was ok never got pulled etc, but i think for mot standards you need certain amount of reflective and right size font id just keep a spare set and temporarily attach for mot etc, that way best of both worlds mate

have you looked at rubber bushes on drivers side?? maybe anti roll bar or bottom arm bushes creaking i know what you mean though squeaks are well irritating, plus the coilovers being really hard will exaggerate any noises that may have occurred before you had them fitted so that maybe why this noise has occurred. is it only when you go over a bump??

HI mate yeah as ssid above shoes on the back i had the same problem on my n/a sportif and i just took the drums apart to find some crap inbedded in the shoes which was scraping under braking with a clean and an adjust up was fine but i do it for a living so easy for me to strip down lol jus something to note for the future shoes are usually around 20 to 25 pound and pads not much more than that really but i only see trade prices due to being a mechanic also i found under hard braking the noise got worse but worth getting it checked out as soon as as maybe the fact the shoes are worn down b

sounds like coilover height problem as several people i know who have put coilovers on and not adjusted prorperly then come to me at work and when i have looked found a slight height difference has only got to be very slight but makes big difference also brake callipers sticking can cause pulling under accelleration so just something to keep in mind if it still happens afterwards mate

HI guys im ste i just brought myself a white ep91sportif for my second car. got some ideas to get car looking and going nice. cant wait to get the mods on. looking for a white sr spoiler at the moment for the first mod preferrably the TTE one. as i dont want to go too mad and glanza replicate it. appreciate the help from turkish already about removing the outer door trims (not keen on the green sportif ones). i also know andygt adamgt and also lee ep82. glad ive gone jap know as im impressed with this car altough only owned for two days. hope to catch up with few people in meets etc in th
