  1. some arty shots of the car and bay taken on my phone
  2. better pics of the flexi it doesnt rest on the subframe, just on there because the manifold was off again... to get welded around all the ports next to the head because it was off i got around 30mins to try to polish it up abit, used 400 wet sand paper and some polish and this is the result, not bad in my opinion now its gone a golden bronze colour
  3. thanks alot mate
  4. no they wont im afraid mate
  5. yeah, instant power bump.. yours will have a 4-1 exhaust manifold design, the prefacelift had a 4-2-1 manifold design
  6. yeah it can, remove and put a blanking plate over it, all for emmision purposes tbh
  7. i also just noticed thats its a 98 spec uk, which means that it will have an egr valve on it, which means that its roughly 167bhp stock instead of the prefacelift 177bhp
  8. if you need any inspiration for engine / power mods have a look at my build ;D
  9. got some more pics bought a deck spacer and aluminium radiator today (no pics of the rad, will get some tomorow) fitted much better mid range and top end, hasnt affected low down pull (which was already great) sad thing is that i cant fit my strut brace on there anymore Fitted my aluminium radiator & fitted a 2 point strut bar too as the 3 point one doesnt fit anymore got my ARC Magic Chamber today ARC has developed their very own unique versions of Induction Boxes and Intake Chambers. The ARC Intake Chamber helps raise the torque at low and mid range (RPM) engine speeds and is also very effective in improving accelerating speed. The ARC Box focuses on low, mid, and high RPM engine response. When stepping on the gas, in between the cleaner and the intake manifold is unused air. ARC invented this Super Induction Box to utilize the unused air and give it better airflow and better response. afew more pics of the ARC got a new grille today... for tyler lol Ae101 Hella Grille Fitted to the car Got some new JDM Rims, quite different to what I've had in the past.. alot of mixed opinions about these. Need a really good clean and polish and hopefully they will be back to their former glory Heres the specs Wedsports RS-5 16x7JJ ET45 Front just fit, rear i put on 5mm spacers Had a really bad week this week, quite lucky / unlucky (whichever way you want to look at it) Sunday morning on the way to work, tyre blew out at aroun 65-70mph quite lucky that there was rubber still on the edge, guessing thats what gave me more control and stopped the car from spinning, glad that there was hardly anyone else on the road as the tyre flew back and bounced across all lanes on the motorway, pulled into the hard shoulder and swapped the alloy for a space saver i had in boot. funny thing is that it didnt fit and i had to use spacer behind it to space it out because it was catching on brake caliper carrier.. Got to work all right and then realised how lucky i was, thought about it like there was the initial shock from the blow then instinct kicked in to keep car straight, got to work all right. on my lunch break went to go get the alloy checked out and new tyre fitted, they were quite surprised that there was next to no damage to the alloy and all they had to do was to replace the old wheel weights and put a new tyre on, balanced up ok so that was day 1 over, on the way to work the following day i hear a really bad grinding sound from the passenger wheel, got about 5 mins from work and brakes failed, quite literally foot hit the floor, pumped it and got pressure, then drove again and foot hit the floor. This had happened to me in the past and it was due to the nut on the drive shaft coming loose, so again on my lunch break i took it down to my mates scrapyard to get it checked out, i was running late and left it with him to repair the fault. He phoned me 20mins later to say " you're very very lucky" again im thinking whats gone on today, so i take another break from work and go down to his yard, car was up on ramps and wheel was on the floor with half the hub attached to it.. i couldn't believe what i was seeing , half the outer cv joint had snapped off with the nut attached and the wheel bearing had collapsed. the wheel bearing is pressed into the hub and should NOT come away like this at all and the driveshaft, inner CV split and outer thread snapped off got some more pics Got my BZ Touring grille for my car need to paint it to the same colour as the car though Finally sorted out my driveshaft and changed gearbox oil Got a new manifold system Its a jasma 051 (Etching K S) system, which I've found is also known as HKS this what the bottom of the old system looked like, loads of welding due to it snapping twice there lol Going to attempt to polish it soon In comparison to the FGK system also re-fitted the RSM and a new cd player, and a boost gauge (wanted it for the vacuum gauge) to try to save abit more fuel lol
  10. got some new wheels OZ Racing 16" x 7" ET37 195/40/16 on front 195/45/16 on rear they do need a refurb though

  15. Got 2 new optional extras My new armrest, needs a clean My C-Pillar Map Lights Dont want to fit these until i have a template of some sort Anyone know what colour wire does what? Some better pics of the arm rest Multibox & cupholders Clean Ace Flare
  16. Cleaned the car and took some pics Need to go lower but not sure if i should because of speedbumps & potholes
  17. I installed the BC coilovers today. I've set the damper knobs to 0 clicks from fully soft on the fronts and 5 clicks from fully soft on the rear. I'm VERY impressed with the ride quality of the BC's. The ride comfort was virtually the same as stock spring/strut combo Going around corners you could definitely notice the difference in the handling performance as it stuck to the road as if it were on rails. So much more responsive.. Im loving them so far  They dont actually make the car look lower than before. dont know why the damper knob is upside down but its set to soft Attempted the st202 carrier and 275mm discs, unfortunately didnt fit the disc sits too far back and carrier just catches the disc at the back so fitted the twinpots to my stock 255mm discs for now
  18. here you are cleaned the filter on my clean ace as a new one is like £34 from toyota :affraid: thanks for the tip shehroze after cleaning fitted my air purifier today and a random shot of my car and my brakes that need to go on really neeed to clean my car now, 2 quick pics i took.. hate the fact i have white wheels and no time because of work...

  20. can either get your own made (probably cheaper) or off ebay, but be warned they aren't cheap lol http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ACIS-Toyota-Celica-MR2-3SGE-Rev3-Power-Spacer-Deck-/111189669130?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19e36bb50a http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-MR2-Celica-3SGE-performance-ACIS-Spacer-/281197566448?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4178ae59f0
  21. A picture of the butterflies you can buy a spacer for this, and it does help with getting abit more power, much better mid range and top end pull, doesnt affect low down torque (which is already great)
  22. not vvti, it has ACIS. butterflies in the inlet manifold chamber that open at 5500rpm..
  23. very nice buy indeed, bulletproof engines in them... i should know, i have one in my corolla i have an fgk manifold for sale for the celica if you are interested?

    New FPR

maybe still be a bit rich on cold start, which is causing it to flood with fuel and not enough air getting in, try putting the fuel pressure down a little bit more and see if that sorts it. i know that the coolant temp sensor also plays a part of the fuelling side, so may need to change that
