the thing is that they done the conversion... i would have thought they may have checked if it was ok..

yeah, they had everything there.. got the car back after a month... know anyone selling a cheap but working engine? havent got much £££ left though

did the whole conversion... but bought the gt off a member on here..

just cost me 1200 + 600 for a written off gt... cant afford to chuck more money @ it... engine was not rebuilt and i was assured it was running right..

dunno really.. someone said it could be a sticky thermostat... will keep an eye on it..

well i went out today and its fine now.. dunno what was wrong with it... seems to have sorted it itself.. this is what did to check if it was rising.. when car was warm.. on and off boost (stayed the same) just hard booost left it to cool down, came back after 2 hours and it had gone down to just below the red line very strange

no luck luke, changed it with one that i know for a fact is literally brand new.. havent had any luck with either test... went to atleast 9 garages.. all busy. but when i explained what was happening i got some different reactions... afew said headgasket (early), afew said thermostat and waterpump because its not doing it all the time and only doing it on boost, and one said blockage somewhere.. one also said when you rev engine and hold top radiator hose, there was alot of pressure building up... most of them said come back tomorow, so another night of thinking and worry... :scratch:

so its still @ trafford centre on sunday?

will do that as soon as it stops raining...
