    as said above the type of person Ishaq is, he would never have left a bad feedback against TD or anyone, just suck it up himself, BUT thats not the way to deal with it, hence i took it on me to write this bloody essay Ammar (ishaq's brother)

    The fact they lied they knew the turbo was fucked so why tell my the turbo is tight blah blah, that was first risk of blowing up the turbo I had problems since day one when i thought it was going nowhere with them thats when i decided to put this FEEDBACK on I only complained about the price because it was far greater than the quote intially given to me and when the car got fucked, when you pay for something you expect it to be done AND im not his mate im his brother and why should this be locked am i not even allowed to relay my experience with them atleast someone can have a look at this and think twice before getting there work done there or atleast clarify these points when doing thier work

    for a month? plus he had to work away up north (some extra money which would have covered some of his cost) but he couldnt because he didnt have a car.. plus he went for about 2 days and it cost roughly £150ish so it wasnt worth it..

    well thats what we did, and TD gave time at the end of 2 weeks... he drives the car as a daily and after telling TD about the turbo they said its tight and it will free up, also when the HG was playing up the car was mostly outside the house and after the knocking noise its been outside home... he has to take countless days off work as he has not been able to make it...

    Amen to that, no decent garages anywhere..! I am proud to say 99% of the work needed on my car (Almera 5Door with SR20DE Conversion), i would do myself, if theres anything i can't do then its a few members i know off the forum i'd go to. would NEVER EVER leave my car with a stranger or a garage..! they fuck up more than they fix AND THIS IS A FEEDBACK THREAD SO IM MERELY JUST RELAYING MY EXPERIENCE ITS UP TO YOU TO DECIDE TO USE THEM OR NOT

    its one thing buying random parts off someone and its completely different story getting a conversion done... if parts faulty you could probz send back and get it changed or get a refund... what do you do about a half arsed converison which was a month late? and also im here to warn other people about the service you are likely to recieve if you deal with them...

    As i said before if you'd read, Ishaq is not one to complain, its me (AMMAR) thats here writing this on behalf of him. Yes the car wasn't boosting properly after he'd got it, but TD's reply to that was "the turbos tight, it needs miles to freee it up" (BULLSHIT)

    Cheers for the replies guys, yeah exactly, Ishaq aint the brains of Engines and Starlets otherwise he would've done the conversion himself, he asked a reputable business who call themselves "toyota specialists" to check the engine for him, which they obviously didn't which has led to this.. As Idrees said, personally i don't think the engine was primed nor the turbo... they're a bunch of goons at the place, everytime i popped down there, they'd be working on one of their mates car rather than the customers cars INSIDE.. Hands on heart, it probably ended up costing me around £100+ in fuel taking Ishaq there and back due to TD's faults problems mistakes etc.. Also, i dont think Fern had got the engine checked, maybe fired it up once or somat and seen it starts and left it at that.. another thing which leads me to belive that is, that she sold the gearbox soon after the accident, so doubt she'd be starting the car without the gearbox..     No real fault of fern IMO apart from checking the car after the accident if its in working condition before telling its fine but the way she came along really annoyed me like heres the car, thanks for the payment and now fuck off TD started the engine up and it was running when i got there...

    Like i said before cars are cars so you never no when something is going to get fucked But lies, broken promises, and petty excuses like your turbo is tight and other things Had to get the following out of my pocket was supposed to be included Exhaust Gauges Turbo timer Boost controller Just for example few other people I've dealt offered to do something at least for example when i bought/swapped alloys with idrees something went wrong and he gave near enough full refund NOW thats what you call customer service

    and like i said, im really out of pocket so cant afford to miss work and uni whilst cars off road again, would be easier to drop another engine in for now and get the current one rebuillt.....

    The engine was in the GT i BOUGHT from Fern and it went straight to TD where i asked them to check it over.. but i also asked fern on a number of occasions to get it checked... things happen???? so you think its ok for me to pay about £1800 for a car i got back after 1 and a half months and now pay another £600 for another engine and £200 - £300 to fit after i have had car back for just over a week (less than 160miles) ???

    Right, as some of you know, Ishaqs been having fair bit of trouble recently with his car Initially he agreed a deal with "Fern", buying her Accident Damaged Starlet. When asked, she replied saying turbo was fine, and engine was running sweeet and no issues, and she assured him there were no problems, so as anyone would do he agreed and left her some money to get it dropped off... In the meantime he was in talks with few people as to getting the actual work done, spoke to a good friend of mine who said he would do it, but Ishaq was abit sceptical because the guy specialises in Nissans.. So he got in touch with Tuning Developments who assured him they'd have it done for before christmas as it was only a couple days job.. then they said after christmas, and then before new years, and then just after, but then got it around mid january.. during the time the car was there, Ishaq phoned them up ample amounts of time to ask them to check the engine, asked them numerous times, to which he always got a reply saying, "yeah we'll check, yeh..." blah de blah... but suddenly it needed a new cambelt (£100 Even though the engine was out?) so he was told they'd supply and fit one! and he agreed.. he had left with them the front engine mount and has asked them to fit that as the starlets only come with 3 mounts (correct me if im wrong), and after he collected his car, he was told, oh there was a bolt missing so we couldn't fit it.. WTF!!!?? now, after the car was supposedly done, it had to be take to an exhaust place to get the downpipe customised to suit the turbo, and he had to pay out his pocket (fair or not)? We collected the car next day from exhaust place, and the car wouldn't seem to drive, just very hesitant and jerky.. so we popped back to tuning development to ask them, to which he said, oh i've got a car which im working on, when i've finished with that then i'll have a look at your car, which took a day, so we collected the next day... Next day came, we went to get car, he took it for a testt drive, 1st time the car drove as a car in yonks .. but turbo was barely boosting past .3 bar, to which the guys said, oh "turbo's tight, needs to be freed up" now that got me thinking, if a turbos tight, its F***ED.. because if it don't spin freely maybe because no oil there or for whatever reason, but it should free up after couple of miles, but it obviously DIDN'T! at this point personally i thought his car before the turbo conversion felt faster, only difference was he had a dump valve (which sounds EPIC), so the next day, we swapped the turbo over for another one he bought, but this one wouldn't boost pas ~.1 bar.. so he fiddled around with some of the vaccum pipes and it would boost to ~.4 bar so turbo wasn't fucked (or was it?) but he was told that would damage the turbo... after getting his dyno figures we popped back to TD to discuss his shit results(frankly) and they said it wasn't getting good figures because of his exhaust system but when i asked TD why they weren't putting the starlet exhaust system on his corrolla, they said its the same.. so the exhaust system was NOT to blame for the shit figures? now very recently, Ishaq had a fear that his headgasket was about to pop, which could have been thought upon had TD done the compression test Ishaq asked them numerous amount of time.. and now the knocking on his bottom end.. So i called FERN up last night, this is how the convo went Me: "how did the car run when you had it" Fern: "fine, no issues" Me: "and after the accident, how was it" Fern: "oh it was the same, no problems at all" Me: "so it drove the same?" Fern: "yes" Me: "so how many miles did you do after the accident" Fern: "0miles, didn't drive it" Me: "but i thought you said it drove the same after the accident" Fern: "no i meant, it would start fine" Me: "oh, really? so, what was the turbo like after the accident" Fern: "it was good, no smoke, spooling fine, boosting fine" Me: "but i thought you never drove it, how do you know how it was boosting" Fern: "because when we'd start the car, we'd rev the engine to see if it was good and it spooled" Me: "but that means it wasn't boosting as it should because you weren't driving it, so you don't know if it WAS fine after accident" Fern: "yeah..." Me: "but you told Ishaq that turbo's fine etc, so you lied" Fern: "NO!" Me: "yes, you said it was fine, but you hadn't checked or got it checked" Fern: "erm, dunno" Me: "so you say it was boosting fine before accident?" Fern: "Yes, boosting perfect" Me: "so what boost was it running? .3bar? .4bar? .5bar?" Fern: "im not some petrol head you know, how am i meant to know what boost its running, just because i got a turbo car doesn't mean i know what boost its running" Me: "erm, yes you should know..." The convo carried on, mostly here just F'ing and Swearing etc etc.. To sum it all up, FERN sold Ishaq a fucked up engine/car, lied throughout (or didn't tell/know the truth) TD took the piss getting the car done (bitching about the weather etc etc) first time it was "done", it wasn't, they'd fucked up something.. second time, "turbo was tight" *this is what really pissed me off*, they agreed on a price with Ishaq, but then when it came for Ishaq to pay, told him to pay 2/300 extra because it was half way through january and the VAT had gone up, FUCKING HELL, ITS YOUR FUCKING FAULT THE CAR WAS FINISHED IN JANUARY, WHY THE FUCK SHOULD WE PAY FOR IT????!!!!???!!!!!! ALL IN ALL, a SHIT SHIT SHIT service from Tuning Developments, and i will make it my aim to disgrace them as much as i can for there APPALLING service and fuck ups.. LASTLY, going back to my first words, "Whos to blame?" Up to you whether to decide to use them or not, this is simply my experience with them and my feedback. I deserve the right to leave feedback so please no bitching i know cars can get fucked when ever but my main issue ARE lies, broken promises, and petty excuses like your turbo is tight and other excuses /End of Rant, Thanks for sticking by

I've had the worst week... as all you know my car went for a conversion in december, well i got it back last week with a £1200 bill.... so i thought one off payment and just trouble free for awhile... the first to happen as soon as it left the place was that it would not boost past 0.3 bar on high boost.... turbo 1 f**ked... had another spare one lying about and swapped that over, but that one didnt boost past 0.1bar turbo 2 f**ked... then whilst driving about on 0.1 bar boost, notice that the radiator is forcing water into overflow on boost.... but luckily that sorted itself out yday.. so i thought YAY... no more problems.. just get a turbo of one of you guys and happy days.... then as im driving home, here a rattling noise from bottom of engine... just really annoyed.. left with next to no money and no car... feel like cutting my losses and selling bits of car? somebody help, dont want to break, but may not have a chance... if anyones got a spare cheap working engine please let me know... 07595631691 as im going to be out and about with bro looking... ishaq
