  1. Hahahahaha you’re not naive dude, just learning!

A blow over is when you paint the outer bodywork, door shuts, boot shut with the same colour as the car is already. Sometimes a colour change can be done but the inside of the car and engine bay will remain the original colour.

I know the feeling mate, I’m having to granny my V around as she needs mapping and I don’t really wanna put my foot down until it’s done!

Mother issue I’m having is finding the time to fit the new turbo (old one has blown the seal so I get a smoke screen on boost, which is why it wasn’t mapped before!)

    CANT BLOODY WAIT!

    PS Emoji is becoming epic!

Well he could have fed me full of bs but he said don’t bother if you wanna race it you will also need new panels bumpers etc so better to save it for maintenance, parts and tyres he did himself out of a job he could have just said yep 2k which given how tired I am I may have said yes.

That was literally a rolling shell quote dash out seats out engine out

Wasn’t aimed at you NS, was aimed at the guy saying it would have been a shit job, as it all depends on the business. There’s a local place to me who would do a blow over for £1500-£2000 and his work is impeccable. But he’s a one man band so less overheads that a several person workshop etc.

Well I've been quoted double that for my car, and there isn't really much left on my car to remove. I'd say it's a fair price to be honest. But I can't see them doing a very good job if that's the case. Body work is very labour intensive!

It depends where you live, the amount of paint shops in the local areas, how much work they have etc. 2k is a fair price for a blow over!

  4. If you want something that give good performance but is more refined and quiet. I’d suggest a HKS Silent hi-power exhaust. Had one on my quadlight and absolutely loved it!

I currently have a japspeed on my Glanza and hate it! Too yobby for my liking!
