  1. Welcome to UKSO! Good to see another local member. I have a powder coated 5e-fhe manifold for sale if that's any good to you? Will see some gains over the standard manifold.
  2. Unfortunately if you paid via bank transfer, you have very little comeback. Your best option is to contact the police and state that you have been a victim of fraud. Hope it gets sorted for you, without the need to get the coppers involved.
  3. Cheers Phil, I wasn't expecting it to work so well. Was a complete pain in the ass following triumph's wiring diagrams. Toyota's are so much easier!
  4. If it's not your daily, it doesn't count I'm only keeping you going, I would prefer something comfy as a daily.
  5. Still no build thread? Good to see some photos mate, definitely a lot better than looking at your beemer Looks mint mate, can't wait to see her on the road.
  6. Are you 100% certain you got a 5e-fe? I can only recall 4e's being fitted to the corolla. Edit: check the engine number stamped on the block.
  7. Cheers pal, glad it was an easy one!
  8. Me too mate, really glad it wasn't something major.
  9. Went out this morning to have a look. Found the problem within five minutes. This is where the TPS use to be connected to. I did have it tucked aware, but it has came loose and got caught in something. As TPS are expensive and hard to come by, I decided to make use of what I had. So out came the Triumph TPS. I started by bringing up the wiring diagrams for the Starlet TPS. I had a search for the Triumph wiring diagrams too, and about 30mins later I had this. Yes it's not tidy, but it works. Next up, reset the trouble codes, let it warm up and took it for a spin. Bridged the ports
  10. Quite possibly, was on the phone to Jay earlier to see if he would have any ideas.
  11. Edged her home, 30 miles of constant cutting out at 30mph. It felt like the engine wanted to rev, but kept cutting. Just performed a diagnostics and it threw up rpm signal & TPS. - I always get the TPS error code anyway as I don't have one connected. RPM signal looks like the problem as the rev counter was all over the show. Cheers for the input guys, will check the MAP sensor tomorrow. No king lead on mine, still N/A. I should also note, loads of flames about 3-4 ft out the exhaust (as described by my mate). Edit: Just brought it up on Autodata -
  12. Cheers Phil, will put a thread up on TGTT too.
  13. Does anyone have an idea, what this might be?
  14. Was on the motorway doing 70mph, the engine management light came on, car shuddered. Starts fine, as soon as there is any load put on the engine, light flashes and clicking noise comes from glove box area. Any suggestions?
  15. I would check the TPS 1st, then plugs and plug leads.
  16. Yeah. It means to cloud servers are down. Don't create a new one or it will wipe it.
  17. They are sometimes on top of the hospitals, just need to find a ladder.
  18. Going way off topic here, but technically a turbo'd 5efhe should not be called be called a 5efhte as the 'h' stands for high compression?
  19. GTA online. Need anymore be said?
  20. It's cheesing me off, but will stick with it. Will you be on tomorrow James? Will start a friends session only and see how that goes.

  23. Yeah, problem matchmaking? It is shit by yourself, but when everyone is on it is the best thing since sliced bread.
