ive used halfords proffesional since the stuff came out! only ever broken one socket (and that was because i stuck it on my air gun to get a very stubbon bolt off a very rusty thread) resulted in a crack! replaced it no problem in store! ive also had plenty of snap on, teng and mac, and whilst they are all good, if you do break them you have to wait a week for 'the man' to come round, then you have to wait for him to order it up if not in stock...... basically if your a tech and your always on the tools then you cant go wrong with the halfords!!

you sure they didnt do it, and their just saying they didnt get that far? did you supply the parts to them? if yes, ask to see them! either that or you've gone deaf because there aint no way on the planet you could have driven a car with a rod doing the crazy banana dance like that!! that would have been knocking its tits off!! sorry dude!

side note, i actually dont know if these motors are the interference type, so timing 'might' not of caused but, thats just what it looks like!

didn't you say they did the cambelt?? very bad incorrect timing = bad times! thats what it looks like to me! I assume some of your valves also look like they are trying to limbo dance?!!
