  1. Right, I'm the 'kid' who he bought the car off. First a few things to get clear : 1) Boost is a adjustable actuator which is set to 0.8 Bar, however I've known it to creep just past to around 0.9(Occasionally depending on circumstances)> 2) It has a HKS FCD which is behind the glove compartment, I never ever touched it from when I bought it but was setup to 0.8. 3) It has a turbo timer, a blitz one. Funny thing is the day I bought the car home it was torrential rain and did the exact thing, felt like engine was cutting out and juddering, but wouldn't do it if you built the boost up g
  2. Had the head gasket and cambelt changed last week for the sale of my Glanza. The car fired up first time and ran fine on a test drive however later on it had developed a clatter almost identical to the one in this video : It doesn't always do it, and only after it's warmed up. Am I right in thinking it's a lifter/valve clearance? It's coming from the top right of the rocker. (The buckets and shims would of been out for the re-skim) Obviously I've got the car up forsale but i'd like to try and resolve this. Any help would be great, Thanks
  3. Oh so happy! Spent last two days putting in a replacement engine. Runs so smooth, absolutely perfect. Gave her a good clean and replaced the glanza decals - s'all gravey now. Will be putting up forsale over the next week. Cheers
  4. Edit : Going to spend the time and get this thing put back to working order.
  5. Just uploaded photos from phone, counts as new? (But taken day before ringlandsss) New challenge - Photo of your car with a piece of paper stuck under the wiper that reads Braad.
  6. Hmm, could be a option. But if i'm honest the reason why i'm thinking of selling in it's current condition is because I have no time to spend on it what so ever, and with a daily driver on the go I've lost all motivation!

Clear ya inbox! Spoke to Jay, he needs a reg or name to remember the engine.

What was the chap called that you bought the engine from?

    Cheers

  8. Hi all What would be a rough price for this if i sold it with a ring gone? Things at work have gone tits up and might need to sell before rebuilding in it's current state. (Car's still drive able, still taxed and insured just not driven) Cheers

Ahhh, thought this would of already been posted! Still stuck in my playlist and has been for like the last 2 months! Only just got a few new tunes and these two really stand out : AND this, which OhEmGeeeeeees hasss to be a current favourite <3 <3 <3 : >>>Phetsta - Run You Down (feat. Reija Lee)<<<
  10. Never chap, never! Has been well looked after inside, hardly any marks or dodgy Staines in site
  11. Small update. Been driving the car off boost with ring problems (Need the car for work) but made up a proper DIY catch can system to stop it spraying all over the bay. Car going in garage next month and having a full rebuild, hopefully have it all done in a week if the head can be skimmed again. Will be aiming to have it all running and a few bits done ready for Japfest! Moved the number plate to the right hand side, looks 100x better. Quick question, due to costs I think i'll just rebuild with OEM and not forge (all depending on money) but where is the best place to get new rings, bearings

    AE86 Vs DC2

Some insane driving in the second video, at some point that corner cutting nearly caused a accident!
  13. Sure is a clean example! The feeling before you set off to pick up a new car is brilliant! Will keep a eye on the build for definate.
  14. Pretty much all kids lunch box cars ( You know, those stupid 'eco' 900cc tiny box cars old people drive around in these days), such as :

    Dubstep

Thanks. Yeah there sure is! If you seive through alot of the amatuer tunes you'll pickout some of the big names that you don't really come accross unless you search or a avid member of sound cloud. Not really into grimey/dirty dubstep, more into chilled out with a good beat.
