Saw it at about 12:30 at the drive through. I was going past in a white gt.

I just got the same problem. Mine smokes a bit. Everything else seems fine. If it is the turbo seals does it cost much to repair?

Can a mod move this to the northern region?

Just wondering if anybody is going from here? Its on saturday 28th august.

Yea it was that one but my fmic hangs a bit low and i hit it on a ramp lol must have just popped off

sorted it. i checked the pipes and thought they was all on but then double checked and one was off a little bit.

Just had a drive home from work and all of a sudden I didn't get any boost and it just whistles/screams when you put your foot down. Its a ct9 turbo with fmic. Anybody know what could be wrong?

As above has anyone ported their manifold and if so could you give any advice on how to go about it?

Yeah thats me. I used to see you quite a lot in my old car. Do you ever have little meets in hull?

I don't have air con and all the back is fully stripped out so its quite light already.

Thank you for the information. I actually have a japspeed exhaust and getting a fmic and air filter was next on the list to upgrade. Got my boost gauge to work properly now too.

I don'y have any yet. Its an ep82 if that makes a difference.

I have set them both up and just wondering what bar to set my boost at with a standard engine? And i have a problem with my boost gauge. It only lights up when i have my lights on? Is this correct? I have looked at the how 2 for the boost gauge but the pics aren't working so not really sure what wires he used. I know this topic has come up a lot but it's not working the way i want it to. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

For now I am just going to tidy it all up to how I like it then hopefully will start upgrading the engine.

Looks clean. I did mine with a spray can and ended up with loads of overspray at the front lol. Needs a bit of a clean.

Thought I may as well start a build thread. I got my GT Turbo a couple of weeks ago and she was in a good condition, all it needed was a bit of a clean on the outside. The interior was in quite a good condition. Here it is how when I got it. After a week I decided to strip the back out and it was very dirty underneath all the panels. You can't really see from this photo but I have tucked all the wires behind all the panels and got it ready for a good clean and a respray. ** Update 8/8/2011 ** Got my HDI fmic from LeeEP82 and this is what it looks like without the bodywork on. Is this hanging a bit too low or is it ok? When my front bumper is on it hangs lower than the bottom of the bumper. Ill get some pics when i get back off holiday. Then got my air filter relocation and catch can fitted. I have also fitted a Luke harness, OMP steering wheel with 95mm dish and OMP boss, Prosport volts gauge and boost gauge. Will get pics sorted. Manifold and decat are next on the list to get I will keep updating as i go along.

I do vinyl wraps at work every week and it isn't as easy as it seems. The hardest bits are getting in the corners properly. Andy
