Was just wondering if the owner of my old starlet was active on these forums? DVLA show it as MOT'd and Tax'd would love to know how its getting on?

Ive just ot a putno gt as cheap toy on the side, signed up to the forums and saw there thread for this, teyseem realy interested and dont think they are uder estimating starlets at all, ive mentioned theres a few starlets on here that are running crazy fast times!

Ha i had one a while back and it was a horrible experience full of rust and just had an mot, just had an mot day before i got it, managed to treaten the mot garage and they bought it back of me! This one seems genuine though went in with my eyes open not ao young an naive now! Done 100 miles today not missed a beat so far, gonna have a back to back with mu dads ep3 type r tomorrow so should give so some indication to performance

Bmw is pretty nice couldnt ask for anything better for the commute to work, punto not to everyones taste but for what i paid you wouldnt even get a ragged ep82, punto is pretty close to perfect condition. Punto like a stanard starlet are not best handling cars with the coilover its not bad at all, power wise they have potential and the mods for big bhp are cheaper in comparison, nowhere near as many rattlea in this. Gearbox is not as good but overall they are very similar to drive. Doubt it will be as reliable but this will probs only be out once a month in the summer so not realy an issue

not a starlet but some people on here maybe interested.

Since selling my starlet ive missed it alot. I couldnt justify buying another as although i loved it i couldnt live with it day to day!

So the starlet was sold and i bought this for the daily commute:

BMW 525i

got it for a bargain price with low miles. Runs spot on comfy and smooth for the daily commute.

With the money left over from sellign starlet i had enough to get another little project. Not to everyones taste but it gets me in a boosted car!

Punto GT3

For those who dont know they are a 1.4 turbo. Got it for throw away money with low miles.

Also has some nice base mods, coilovers, front mount and few other bits. Currently running at 160-170bhp.

This car will be kept in my nans barn so the mods dont have to be sensible as wont be used on the daily. Im wanting to get it striped out and get her to 200bhp + this is going to be used purely for track days and Pod runs.

What you guys think?

just a quick question dunno if anyone on here will be able to awnser.

im thinking of buying a few cheap cars to sell on to hopefully make a bit of extra cash.

now ive owned alot of cars so am familiar with the process im just wondering if there is any way i can buy a car then re-sell it without me being the an owner on the log book. Wanting to do this for 2 reasons, first is when i buy the car i wanna re-sell straight away rather then waiting for hte log book to come back in the post in my name and i dont want to add a owner to the history,

dont think this is going to happen now due to insurance lol. noticed i didnt tick the car as import, when i change to import they dont qoute me, funny realy as the uk variant doesnt even exist. so theyll insure me cheap on a car that doesnt exist but not one that does ha typical! im craving boost again badly driving a barge at the mo!

im sold lol, its just wether or not this insurance qoute will actualy be legit when i buy the car.

same here but there doesnt seem to be many r32 gts about all seem to be gtr's theres no way id insure one

im 22 with 6 points im getting qoutes of around 1400. its not definate yet was just surprised by the qoutes and thought might be nice, dont think to many of them are standard these days, may have to test drive!

After selling my starlet i have got the boost ich again!

Now ive just had a surprising insurance qoute on a an R33 skyline GTS-T

Any one had any experience with these, any good?

My made had one years ago but wasnt realy interested back then, wish i took the oppitunity to drive it!

I think there above 250bp mark standard so cant be a slouch!

terrible thing to happen mate, sounds stupid but i dont even know if id want it back knowing some pikey t**** had been using it

^^^ i remember my mate doing this back when i was at school, he set up a forum of people who logged on everyday and done just that. FOrums got closed down pretty quick!
