Hello everyone, Just got my 1993 GT Turbo, Not alot of progress so fare but figured i would post some pics up and keep adding allong the way. Heres how she looked the day i picked it up: No major updates straight away just abit more engine tidying, sprayed up the the standard Strut and got the rocker cover power coated. Also added TRD sweat bands over resovoirs. Engine still very much work in progress: Few more pics after i gave her a quick clean and polish Thinking of changing the wheels to Rota Grids or possibly spray the ones i have black as going for black and red

ok not sure if im confused or enlightend ha To be honest 190-200 bhp is as far as i want to ever take this car i think. to be honest this should be ample power for what im looking for in a car at the moment. to be honest i dont want to go any higher then this or want to start rebuilding my engine with different enternals, so based on this and from what ive read from you guys sounds as if the plug and play systems are more sutied to me. Does sound like the stand alones are a better bit of kit if you want top take it to that next level though. Is there any where you can find these plug and play

Nice one youve been realy helpful.. Just one last question i promise ha the parts ive mentioned are they all pretty much bolt on and go. you think ill need any fabrication for turbo to fit? Other then that think im good to go thanks for all your help
-
Cheers cool ill add that to my list, might but few extra things aswell like uprated cam cover and over gaskets. Just wanted to make sure before i start buying things Dont spose you know how the starlet standard brakes will handle this sort of power and do you think running this sort of set up should be reliable ish day today. I know there capable of a lot more, from what ive been reading sounds quite reliable just wanting to make sure again cheers

Hello all, Im still new to the starlet scene, and the turbo scene so youll have to excuse my lack of knowledge. Im wanting to get my starlet to around 190-200bhp. My starlet currently has a FMIC, HKS dumpvalve, boost gauge, Exhaust (Not De-cat but will be) and Air filter relocated to front of engine. Now my question is to get a CT9 hybrid turbo running on my car and to achieve this power what else would i need. From my understanding including the mods i have i would need the following. 1. Uprated Manifold 2. Some sort of after market actuator (HKS) (Assume this would need to be set to 1

no pics of under bonnet at moment. will get some though, theres a few things i wanna do under there to tidy it up. Im from southampton

im not 100% sure so your have to bare with me to good with makes of things yet. It has FMIC (HKS), Dump valve (HKS), KandN Air filter, Cat back exhaust 4" not sure on make. Lowered on Apexi Shocks. Will be able to be abit more specific after a read about when im a bit more clued up
